In Five Nights at Freddy's 2, the old and aging animatronics are joined by a new cast of characters. They are kid-friendly, updated with the latest in facial recognition technology, tied into local criminal databases, and promise to put on a safe and entertaining show for kids and grown-ups alike!

What could go wrong?

As the new security guard working nights, your job is to monitor cameras and make sure nothing goes wrong after-hours. The previous guard has complained about the characters trying to get into the office (he has since been moved to day-shift). So to make your job easier, you've been provided with your very own empty Freddy Fazbear head, which should fool the animatronic characters into leaving you alone if they should accidentally enter your office.

This was the first fnaf game I got and this game is brilliant now since there 10 animatronics instead of four or 5 if you count golden Freddy so now it make it more a challenge since there are no doors you get a Freddy mask and a flashlight. Night 6 is good a really hard but the survival kid makes it easy and custom night is great to because you can unlock plushies to sit on your desk

Here’s some tips on how to beat the animatronics!!!

Toy Freddy

If he appears in the hallway and he’s just standing there, don’t put the mask on just yet. He will come in your office and then you can put the mask on. Do it quickly!

Toy Bonnie

He appears in the vents, and in the same vents as Withered Chica and mangle. Just be very quick when you see his face in the vent.

Toy Chica

Toy Chica comes from the other vents from Toy Bonnie and she is in the same vents as Balloon Boy and Withered Bonnie. She appears in the hallway at first, but she will leave and go in the vents. You have a couple of seconds to react to her, so just be quick!

Mangle

To me, mangle is easy. If you hear some weird noises in your office it’s probably mangle so you put the mask on and she/he will hopefully go away.

Withered Freddy

On night 1-2 you do not really see Withered Freddy at all. He mostly appears halfway through night 3-6. Withered animatronics have a short time before they will get you, so quickly put on that mask!

Withered Bonnie

He is the same as Withered Freddy but comes through the vent instead of the hallway. Withered Bonnie shows up in the same vents as Toy Chica and BB. He is very similar to Withered Chica so be quick!

Withered Chica

She appears in the opposite vents to Withered Bonnie but has the same seconds-to-react as Withered Bonnie. Be quick with that mask!

Withered Foxy

Do not put the mask on for this dude. You will need to flash him if he is in the hallway flash him 5-7 times.

Balloon Boy

If you see him in the vent just put your mask on, and if you hear some banging in the vents, you can take your mask off. If you hear a “Hello” that probably means he’s in the vents.

The Puppet

Keep the music box wound up in Cam 11 and don’t wake up Marionette/Puppet (if you hear some music if you have not got cameras on, it means you forgot to wind the music box. Your mask does not work for The Puppet)

This is a great game and runs smoothly on mobile, but one thing that makes this game harder to use is the mask, it has a slight delay when putting the monitor down and it makes animatronics easier to get you, I think if they changed the controls to make this more efficient it would be better or maybe even controller support.

The game is amazing, with great graphics, audio cues and jumpscares. The first night is pretty simple, maybe a few tries at first but pretty easy for me. 2nd night however, took me 6 months to beat. I play about once for maybe 30 mins a day. It took me forever to beat, but the feeling of it made my day. The third night is hard, because the withered animatronics wake up. So on top of Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, Mangle, Puppet, Withered Foxy and Balloon Boy. Theres also Withered Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Shadow Freddy/Bonnie. I thoroughly enjoy and recommend

Best Five Nights at Freddys game i have played! It has a perfect balance of hard and scary, im stuck at night 6 and i really wanna get to the custom night but I like how it has the special types like "ladies night" which wasnt in the first game. It doesnt go 100% off sound cues like fnaf 4, but still uses a few for animatronics like mangle and foxy. Also it uses very little, almost no RNG (i really hate having to win by luck) and it has a great variety of animatronics with different ways to fend off (maybe not the toy ones, theyre almost the same)

This is the paragraph where i discuss problems, right? Well guess what? I have no problems with this game at all! No ads (which is expected by a paid game, but still), paying for the unlimited flashlight power and all that is optional and no one really does it, so compared to games such as Plants Vs Zombies 2 and Fifa, its definitely not pay-to-win.

Once again, my favourite fnaf game, havent played security breach just yet and that has some potential, but this is by FAR my favourite out of the first 6 games.

The scariest animatronics are definitely the withered ones (especially Bonnie🐰) There is one animatronic is so annoying and always gets me...FOXY THE PIRATE!!🦊 In the first game foxy wasn’t such a big deal but now he comes through the hallway all the time. The main reason I lose my battery is because of him. But I’m on night 3. Overall, it’s a really, great game.

Matpat said in one of his videos that mangle is likely being possessed by a dog, but in the cut scene it said “HE is not dead, he is here”. This isn’t it all though. Phantom puppet is a boy because the original animatronic of puppet was a boy even if the soul inside is a girl, (same with golden Freddy) phantom mangle his confirmed in every way a boy so that means the original model of mangle was a boy. So mangle is probably a boy unless I have miss calculated something.

I originally would of planned a girl because the voice is a girls and the appearance but this is enough to prove that mangles a boy and I already confirmed puppet and golden Freddy to be girls above, but I am still stumped on lolbit, I’m pretty sure almost every one knows funtime foxy is 90% male but we don’t know a lot about lolbit and they never talked. We just have the design, please stand by and lolbits jump-scare in fnaf vr so please can we have lolbit in the next game or fnaf ar?

I love the game and golden Freddy, shadow bonnie, and shadow Freddie are really cool little secrets. The games music box adds a ‘you can’t sit and check cameras the whole time’ sense. It also develops great strategy and thinking to beat the game. I’m on night 5 at the moment and it’s very hard for me. The best I got was 3 am. The game has 10 characters (balloon boy, chica, puppet, foxy, Freddy, bonnie, golden Freddy, mangle, toy Freddy, toy bonnie and toy chica. If you count the shadow characters as anamatronics then you can.

One of the best games in the franchise, ported right to your very phone. Clickteam, please don’t take note pf the bad reviews people put on your FNaF ports. They’re just really, really dumb and try to play the game on their potato of a “phone.” Keep up the good work. Hope the next port of Fnaf: Security Breach is as good as all your other Fnaf ports!

I love Fnaf or if you prefer to call it Five night’s at Freddy’s I have been watching it for about 4 years or more and it’s amazing but the only thing is, is when that Last Halloween update came out when you had changed the music or you might of done it before that... Anyway I would highly recommend if you had the music changed back to the Original if you could. Thanks for taking your time to look at what I have had to say and have an Amazing day!!!!!!!! On night seven foxy goes in the hallway even though he is set to 0 and the show stage and parts/service cameras always say “signal interrupted”

I’m not sure if they’re bugs or if they are in the game on purpose

It’s basically impossible to play on phone now. Make the camera and Freddy mask button bigger. Make it so we don’t have to flash and press the lights individually and move the music box button to where it was. Apart from that great update!

Download this it is so worth your money :) I love it even though I’m not 12 :0 it is fun for if you like fnaf 1 or fnaf 3 or fnaf 4,5 or 6. It is great to play and I’m addicted! I’m stuck on night 2 how foxy does not think the mask you put on is actually Freddy! He always gets me :) and I incurge you to defently get this game! OR ELSE........ it’s amazing and I like Bonnie but I don’t know why it won’t let me click the flashlight thingy

When I saw the first five nights at Freddy’s game get an update, making it like the pc version, I was extremely looking forward to being able to play five nights at Freddy’s 2, as this game had a lot of things missing that would have made the experience a whole lot better.

So it was no surprise that when I saw this game, I had been updated I had to get it and I am pleased to say that now the game is so much better as it has all the features such as cutscenes and sound effects that improve the game massively and makes the experience very much more stressful and how the game should feel.

However, this review can’t make it to five stars and is given three as there is a few small problems.

First, there’s one thing that I’m just being a bit picky about and that’s the new home screen music. I feel that the original home screen music similarly to fnaf 1 is much better and is more nostalgic, bringing memories of when I first played this game back. I feel it would be better if the original home screen music was on the home screen and the new music was on the options of upgrade menu.

Finally, the square you have to click to make the flashlight work is useful for the first night but after that it just becomes annoying as by then you know how to work the flash light and it becomes a bit of an eye sore.

Overall the fnaf 2 update is nearly perfect but there are a few small things I’m a little bit picky about.

Ok, so I was close to beating the game, night 5 in fact when I beat the nifty the 6am chimes finished something was...off...

I encountered a cutscene, but I had already seen it. It was the cutscene with the puppet looking at you, when the cutscene ended I was shocked to see that the screen said... Night 5 12:00

AM. I ignored it and beat the night again, the same thing happened Clickteam I don’t know what made this occur but please do your best to fix it.

I bought this game in 2019 I love all the jump scares except for withered chica I am not saying I hate it I’m just saying it didn’t make me jump the hole point of jumpscares is that they scare you withered chica just waddles it’s head on the screen pretending it’s scary eg the marionette or withered foxy first off the marionette jumpscares you if you don’t wind the music box enough and withered foxy jumpscares you if you don’t flash your flashlight enough times at him other than that I love not just this game I love the hole series by the way Scott made custom night way harder than it needed to be

I love this game so much, I just bought it yesterday at night. 3 and 4 are out now but I especially chose this one because it seemed the hardest because there where so many jumpscares (I read the guide, about 10!) and there where no doors! A lot harder then I thought. I'm still stuck at Night 2! I almost got to night 3

When Foxy and his counterpart mangle where in the main hall. I flashed my light a few times then

looked at the monitor to rewind the music box but then toy Chica jumped out of nowhere and game over. Scott you made so much cool games!

And for my IPad there where no bug

crashes! I just want the AI customisation on the iPad version. Thanks

I think this is a very original game and I love the designs of all the unique anamotronics. Scott did a very good job and for those people who say “ugh this is such a boring game, all you do is look at a bunch of cameras!” That is your opinion and I won’t hate on it. But just think of how hard Scott has worked, there are 6 FNAF GAMES! Not hating, I just really get annoyed because I am a fnaf nerd hah. I told all of my friends about this game and they all adore it so much. I am so happy that you thought of such an original idea to really engage all of the people playing, all other horror games act the same!

5/5 stars, well done Scott :)

Amazing Scott I just can’t explain how good it is you know what I have been a fnaf fan for years then I finally get the game the reason I didn’t play fnaf 1 because it’s so hard and guess what the first 3 days I had this I managed to get on to night 6 even though I never played fnaf before but one glitch (I play on iPad ok?)is that when I tap the screen to light up the hall it would work then I got Jumpscared by foxy But once (somehow) I ran out of batteries it was 5 am then foxy was in mid air about to kill me then IT WAS 6 AM I was like OMG OMG TAKE THAT FOXY Wait does that mean when I go on the next night I’m gonna get jumpscared by him (lol)

I spent months on this game when it came out and really enjoyed it, but there was one glitch which really dragged down the experience. On mobile the nights are longer, to compensate for the shorter night on fnaf 1. This isn’t a problem for nights 1-4, but after that, the nights became near impossible. It took me four months to beat night 5, and I don’t even know if night 6 is possible.

I am one of the biggest fans of fnaf ever and this might be my favorite game out of the 6 definitely buy all of the games but if you only play them for custom night do not get fnaf 3,4 and sister location because the first 2 do not have it but sister location is really hard when you get to the part when you need to keep the costume on and the minirenas keep taking it off it is almost impossible for everyone but fnaf 2 is great no closing doors all you have is a flashlight and a freddy fazbear mask to confuse most animotronics but foxy and the puppet won't react to the mask and will make sure you never see light again apart from heaven

Oh my god, AMAZING I love the fnaf series so much but this one and the 4 and 5 made me jump...I mean I don’t usually like horror games but this series KNOCKED my socks off.

My best ever fnaf2 experience was on night five: I was doing better than I had ever done before and as I flicked my camera down mangle jumped scared me..the screen on my iPad froze and it went black and changed in 6am....just the trill of a scare and happiness made me so good LOVE IT

if there was an extras on FNAF 2, listen Scott, I think you are going to love this, on extras on the second game, I would add something called “INVENTORY” and with that, you can allow any plushies on your desk after you have completed the Custom Night Challenges, if you want a plushie on your desk click “YES”, if not click “NO” and then the picture of the office will have a plushie appear on your work desk, How does that sound? I can’t even explain how great this game is. My friend recommended this game to me a few weeks ago and me, my friend and siblings are all obsessed with it. I played the first FNAF and yeah, it’s good but I wanted scarier. So I got this. I love this so much, it’s very challenging and there are so many characters to warn off, that it’s really hard! I still love it though, I also love the FNAF book series, and I’m halfway through Silver Eyes. I love it. 😻😻🙀🙀😜😜😍😍
