Unusable on the whole

full screen ads that take over the phone and can’t be removed. Even after many minutes. I understand the company needs to advertise to make revenue but the adverts go full screen with no way to remove them. Then another pops up completely full screen and never disappears. The company keeps saying they need to include advertising which is fine. But this type of invasive advertising just makes the user delete the app which seems to be what most reviewers are complaining about. Responding by saying you need to include adverts isn’t an acceptable response. Neither is offering a pay version. I wouldn’t consider paying for such an application when the free version is so unusable due to how adverts are implemented.

AVOID devs don’t care

Thought I’d try app one more time as updated after over a year!! Using iPhone 12 Pro Max iOS 14.5.1 app crashing when trying to do weather routing , Developers obviously don’t care so don’t waste your money, deleted and won’t be coming back again. AVOID

Update from last review, app keeps Crashing, cannot select time of departure as screen is totally white. No update for over 8 months or for new ios 14!!!! I am running iphone 12 pro max ios14.3, app used to be good that I payed for premium, total waste of money, I ride all year round this is now useless, AVOID, deleted alternative found

Could be good, but

In theory a really good weather app, it’s a shame the developer has not looked at it for almost a year. On new version of iOS the app crashes within 10 seconds of startup. Have emailed issues to the developer and no reply.

Crashes continually

For some months now this unstable app fails to work at all for me. I open it and it crashes - period.

I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling - makes no difference.

It used to be OK, despite being overburdened with intrusive adverts, but now it’s utterly useless.

I’ve been using this for over 2 years now but recently(last fortnight or so) it just blanks the screen of my iPad. I reload it and it runs for a day or so then the same thing happens.... update: may have been caused by the latest update 2-3 weeks ago??

Still broken

I’m no longer getting a ‘cannot retrieve weather data’ error, but it now cycles the background constantly and the forecast text flickers.

This renders the rest of the app completely unresponsive; I can’t pull up the hourly forecast from the bottom of the screen, nor can I change data screens (i.e. between radar, tomorrow and 14 days).

Finally, because it’s so unresponsive, I can’t close it, the only way to get rid of it is by restarting my iPad.

I have made a video of the problem but, I don’t think I’ll bother emailing USIMET with it, as they seem completely uninterested in doing anything to fix the problems with their apps other than releasing pointless updates which don’t fix anything, but leave the app more broken than it was before.

I have deleted it again and, this time, it’s staying deleted.

Full screen ads!

Full screen ads are NEVER OK. Really. If the full screen advert is the first thing you show your users when they open your app, it tells them that a) you don't value them, b) you're an unambitious operation desperate for money, c) you don't know how to monetize your app, which is at risk of disappearing, d) you're telling your users to go look elsewhere.

Drop the full screen ads and convince us that there's value in subscribing.

On the bright side, forecasts are quite accurate (~90% in my experience).

But there are a few downsides though. The navigation is annoying (2-5 sec delay loading up with a bogus updating screen, which looks like it's a gif, then a full screen of the CURRENT weather — no forecast until you scroll down to the next screen). Ideally I'd want to see the FORECAST immediately (I can tell what the current weather is).

Previously there have been problems with updating the weather conditions and forecast. It is not immediately obvious whether the data is current or when the last weather update was.

All in all, this would be a great weather app IF the full screen ads debacle was sorted out. Until then, avoid this app.

App had been good until a bug fix update 22/2/17 which now prevents the app from operating. The screen freezes and then the app shuts down.

Problems with latest version.

I loved this app but since it's latest upgrade the tomorrow, day after tomorrow and fifteen day forecasts have disappeared and it tends to freeze when you chose a different location. I hope it can be sorted because all I can see is today's weather.

Now even better

The 'MORECAST' weather app has just had a great update. It really is the best weather app out there. 'Outshines even the paid-for ones I've got. The 3D global map is great & if you press the raindrop it will show you the weather systems moving in real time & even forecast radar paths of rainfall. Also if you press the Lightning tab it will show you a global light show of the last 24 hours lightning strikes. Really highly recommend this app. I've been using for about a year & is highly accurate & dependable & now with the global map it's even better.👍

Lacks accuracy.

Very nice looking app with good functionality, however it has one massive flaw, accuracy or lack of.

Constantly predicts no precipitation when other apps and services show high risk of rain. If they could get the accuracy right would rate a 5* review.

How long does it take ?

Not sure what the update did but its still the same for me. When it says cannot get weather which is quite often defaults to KMPH, from MPH. Also says I'm in New York....

Awesome app

Really its very good app but only one problm in widget on iphone 6 plus. Actually if i activate the widget then they take too much time for display every time i on the notification bar widget take so muc time like 1 to 1.5 minutes and also please add rain amount by hour in widget ihope your team will understood. Great start, widget needs some help

A nicely put together app. Widget takes ages to load, so hope that can be sorted in a future update...it would also be great if it continued to display old data until the new data is loaded, so it doesn't just appear as a blank area with other widgets.

As good as it gets

I watch a lot of F1 and have always be fascinated how they're able to predict precisely, when it will rain and for how long. Finally after a long search, I've found an app with the detail and info 10x better than anything on the market. This is the only app I've come across that shows the future path of rain on radar - even renowned websites like met office show where the rain HAS been, not where it's going - We know where it's been, why would we need to know it rained 10 minutes ago? We need to know if it will rain 10 minutes FROM now and this app does that - Keep up the great work! p.s. Now being able to feely move the radar map with the new update makes it perfect. Not sure where you can go from here but I wait in anticipation

Good tool loads of info

Great tool which shows you the weather where you are with the Doppler radar. You can load in lots of cities and make comparison between them. Can't see any ads yet. Easy to use.
