App is very clunky, gives me repeated errors. Favourites list that i have used repeatedly is not working. Lets me add items but then cant see them. Have uninstalled and reinstalled on 2 devices and no luck. Customer Service just told me it didn't work when you have items in it that were out of stock but this was not the case in the past. Told me to delete the list and make a new one......

Easy spa booking system what a joke
Really poor CX on this app, trying to make a spa booking. Really easy to buy a voucher but not to actually check whether the spa is free on the day I want. I don’t want to pay for any treatments if I can’t go on the day. Poor

Slow app and didn’t give me the £3 off reward
Not happy as downloaded the app to get the £3 off reward. Tried ordering 4 times before my order would go through and then it went through without the reward discount despite clicking the box. The app is very slow and clearly not working well.

Lush Club has disappeared
I took loads of pots back to my local lush shop and got £8.50 of credit which I added to my lush club on the app to use at a later date (no problems at this point)
I went into lush today to use my credit and the lush club section has disappeared on my app, no sign of it or my credit anywhere.
My app is up to date and I can’t see any reason why my credit could have disappeared - my friend I was with could see the club app on her phone.

Fresh Facial
I was given a voucher for a fresh facial at Christmas. I used it at the weekend in Glasgow and it was delightful!
Kristy did a wonderful job! I felt totally relaxed and refreshed afterwards.
The only complaint was when I had to pay an extra £5 when I booked my appointment online.
I would expect the price paid for the specific treatment on a voucher to be honoured.

If you care…
I’ve spent a fortune with lush over the years but recently they’ve made it so hard for me to give them my money.
First off the social media thing, I get it, fine. Solution? Make an app. The app is terrible. ‘Server not responding’ and impossible to find products or browse in an enjoyable way. So I try to use the website and it’s the same rubbish lack of menus and worse: constantly being hounded to why not use the app? 🫠
If you care about customers make an app that works, stop hounding them if they don’t want to use it and listen to customers.

Worst experience ever
I recently made a purchase that included both a sale item and a regular-priced item. Unfortunately, the sale item was cancelled without my consent, and only the regular-priced item was shipped. This has caused inconvenience, as I now need to pay additional shipping costs to reorder the cancelled item.
When I contacted customer support, I felt my concerns were not fully acknowledged. The staff seemed unaware that essential items, such as soap, are necessities, and their approach suggested that shipping costs were not a priority, as if the products were luxury items.
If online sales are managed with this approach, it may be more reliable to shop in person where such issues can be addressed directly. I also wonder if sale items are frequently listed online with the intention of being cancelled, which is disappointing.

Unusable app
App is incredibly laggy, especially at the payment page. Delivery is constantly stuck at ‘£2.50 away from free delivery’ when I’ve got enough products in my basket to get it. It has crashed 3 times upon payment and not gone through resulting in refunds even after emptying the basket and re-installing the app. The app is unusable.

Gone from bad to worse
When the app was first introduced it seemed to work fine for what I needed. Over time various updates have seen this app go from being functional and practical to downright fiddly and irritating. As a fan of Lush I persevered in the hopes they’d sort it out. They haven’t.
Navigation is terrible.
When you place items in the basket you can’t then click on the item to view the summary page, you have to come out of basket entirely to go back, find the product and re-add if you have changes to make then delete the previous item.
I had slowly been building a basket with limited edition items to place an order near pay day and when in to check out Basket contents vanished, I can appreciate that it may disappear (first time it’s happened since the introduction of app)
I then when to favourites to re-add items to basket and my Favourites list has disappeared!
Don’t even get me started on how to access Kitchen subscription and or view existing orders placed. Utter faff. I’m sorry to be leaving such a negative review but Lush sort it out. When your products have reached premium prices on par if not more expensive with the likes of Aveda, Dr Hauschka, Weleda etc, but not necessarily matched for quality things like a poor app really does make all the difference to me making a purchase or just spending 5 minutes leaving a review like this and deciding to go elsewhere

I love Lush so much! I think everything smells amazing and it’s lots of fun.
When I found out there was an app was I bubbling (just like their bath bombs). I quickly tried to download it but sadly my phone was too old to get it. A year later I got a new phone and downloaded it 👍.
I then tried to sign up but it wouldn’t let me so I haven’t got an account. 😢
I think the app is great there are some things that need sorting out but I think in it is just great. 👏

Needs out of stock filter
You can only view sale items on the app (not online) and almost all reduced stock is not available but with no “out of stock” filter you have to click through every item to see if you can purchase it. Also there needs to be just a “sale” option so you can see everything in the sale. I’ve given up trying to use the app. Frustrating.

Not fit for purpose
The only thing worse about this app is Lush decision to make the sale solely available on it. Nothing will load it just says unable to load navigation. No one on help chat. Waste of time not able to do a single thing on it. This wouldn’t have been as big of an issue if they also did the sale on their website instead of this app that can barely handle more than 5 people at a time on it. App looks lovely but I find navigation very difficult as there is no actual menu, and it’s not very accessible either. I wish out of stock items weren’t shown as it clogs up the product pages (especially during the sale when basically everything is out of stock and not many products load at once. Impossible to Navigate
Really difficult to find what I want and I have ended up reverting to their website instead on each time I tried to use it (which also isn't great). Thought I'd look at the sale today, which is only available on the app (maybe the only way Lush can get people to use it) and no surprise, it's not working. Lush, either don't have an app if it's going to be do awful, or spend some money and make it worth your customers' time. As it is, I'd say to potential users - save yourself time and frustration and don't bother with this.

I’ve been on the app since 8am, so nearly 3 hours, and not had access to shop, not been able to load any products, in the sale or not and just keep getting the same technical errors and messages. The app is straight forward but the delay on the app is really annoying and frustrating. Scrolling through it’s jolting and then when I go to pay I’m trying to click one button but it’s selecting the button above. So it took more time than needed. Tried to write a message for my gift which took a long time as it was slow then it kept deleting the message which didn’t feel smooth at all. Like I say the app is clear to use but just very very slow.

Poor performance
The app used to function perfectly and ordering your cosmetics was just a tap away arriving well on time unfortunately after a recent update and multiple attempts to use the app the products won’t even load or the app crashes, I’ve tried many things and this is not a connectivity issue, it’s a huge let down as I’ve always found the app more secure than going online and loved to save my basket to revisit, looks like ordering will have to be online from now on !

Not user friendly
Website said to download app for discount which was not delivered! App makes it hard to find things. I was after a gift set but when searching it didn’t list them all. You also can’t organise items from lowest to highest price, was just after a cheap gift in addition to the package. In short, scammed to download app for a discount I never got and app is not user friendly.

Irritating
I was in the middle of booking a spa date (selecting a date and a therapist). when the app said I needed to update it. I did and everything I had done just disappeared. I checked the app and online, everywhere says I should book on the new app. I can’t. It says my spa choice is unavailable. There is no function for booking. I shouldn’t have updated the app for a lousy £3 credit. Instead, I’ve spent an hour trying to find the place on the app where I am supposed to be able to book. Yes, I know I can ring the shop but I’m irritated that the app was doing what I wanted and I updated it and now it doesn’t do what I want even though it says that I can.

A filter out option?
I’ve been a fan of lush for a while, and recently decided to get the app to make life a little easier for ordering. It’s clean, simple and makes purchases so much easier. I just have one gripe.
I think that a “filter out” option would be a BRILLIANT addition to the filters. As someone who is severely allergic to lavender, clicking into the collection, then product, then ingredients and then finding if there’s lavender or not on EVERY product I’m interested in gets old, and though the ingredients are clear and easy to reach, I would love the app to have the option to filter in a way that then removes products with certain ingredients from your search! It would save SO much time for anyone with allergies and would make shopping a much smoother process.
Love the app greatly, just think this feature would make life so much easier.

Really don’t like this app
I find it more difficult than most apps to navigate to what I want to find, and the excessive pop-ups annoy me. The ordering and payment pages are a lot less slick than many apps and companies too. Shame really because I love Lush products and their ethos. Bright and colourful are the most positive responses I can give, but at the risk of feeling claustrophobic and migraine-inducing.

I really like the app, but I wish it would say which products are available online. It’s so frustrating doing a basket only to checkout and it say “not all items are available online” and then I’ve got to go through and guess which one it is, or open the web page!

Deeplinking issues
When you advertise the app with a mobile web interstitial you need to sort your deeplinks out so if you already have the app it opens it if you click on the CTA - and if you dont, it takes you to the listing in the relevant app store. Similarly, if you advertise Halloween early access in-app on a similar interstitial banner, you need to deeplink to the (hidden?) product lister page using the onelink. I cant find thr halloween stuff even though Ive got the app already - so you’re potentially missing out on sales for engaged app customers?

Awful update
The new update to the app is awful. It’s so hard to navigate or find what you’re looking for. Why can’t I choose a category such as hair care then shampoo bars like on the website? The search box is useless. If you type “shampoo bar” it includes bath bombs and tooth tabs?? The old app allowed me to select hair products or shower gels and then browse through the range. I’ve just typed “shower gel” into the search box and again it’s displaying bath bombs, tooth tabs and moisturisers. Completely pointless. I love Lush products but the app is truly terrible. Deleted and I’ll use the website instead.

Great shop, less great app
I love Lush and I love their online shopping too. Sustainable packaging, quick delivery, extensive product range. It’s such a shame the app doesn’t match up. It won’t let me put items in my online basket, even when they are clearly in stock on the online store. The search function is ok, but it’s hard to navigate and if you like something but can’t remember the name, you might never find it again. I’ll still shop with Lush, just not via the app…

This app is a mess
I want to browse by product type, not by 'feelings' or whatever random categories are on the homepage this time. I don't have a bath so I don't want to waste time sifting through a load of bath products to find something I can use in the shower. Apps are supposed to make things easier and more intuitive, but there's absolutely no benefit of using this wishy washy (pun intended) app over the website
Also: stop making me click on things to then tell me it's out of stock!!! Either remove it from the inventory or have an 'out of stock' sign on the preview bit

The app is slow and some descriptions just cut off for some reason. I saw on one of the soaps “my daughter loves this, it smells like…” and then nothing after. It would also be great to see a category section of the app while then having to use the search function and then sort by. I see a wish list is coming soon so I look forward to that. The app just needs some adjustments and a few missing features added and it will be great!

My son suffers from anxiety and I was given a little sample pot of this yesterday in your Truro shop, omg it smells and feels amazing on skin and I’ve given my son this to rub on his chest at night to help him sleep and hopefully to stop him feeling so anxious. Lovely Stuff
I really enjoy buying things from LUSH, the products are imaginative, sensitive on the skin and ethically made. I buy pretty much all of my gifts from here because I enjoy picking out different items and people are always happy with what I’ve sent. Horrible update - completely inaccessible and I wonder if they made this “redesign” to be as frustrating for customers as possible. No more categories like “shampoo” and “body wash” for if you want to search for specific products. Instead you either have to memorise the name to use the search function or kiss all hopes of finding the product goodbye, unless it “makes you sleepy” or is “fresh” because apparently that constitutes as suitable replacement categories now. There’s no whiff of a wishlist any more, old accounts have gone so you can’t view your order history, and the design is so garishly ugly and animated that it hurts my eyes to look at for more than 5 seconds. I can’t possibly imagine what Lush were thinking of with this one. I certainly won’t be using it any time in the near future.

Products fab, New App is AWFUL
Lush products are ALWAYS exceptional and I love what the company stand for as a brand. And the app was always my go to place for things.
But the new app is appalling. Really bad.
You can’t sign in to see previous orders. Wish list is gone. Love that they have added search results filters, but there is no way to browse anymore. If you accidentally click on ‘lens’ there is no way to exit except closing down the app.
Tried contacting Customer Services and provide feedback? But response was ‘app is being updated all the time’, not ‘we’ll pass your feedback on’.
Until it is fixed, you can still access your wish list, but only via website, which seems like a waste of a previously good app!
Lush developers... please fix this!

Awful web app
Products amazing but the redesigned app is terrible, so hard to navigate , and what’s happened to the sign in option had to guest check out and re enter details what a pain!

Lush
I love lush, products are great, but for some reason whenever I leave the app and go back on it, it deletes everything from my basket, also it would be nice to have a liked section so that I could find my regulars quickly rather than having to find each item individually each time.

Terrible update to what was a great app
The update that has recently been made to this app is just terrible. Your basket deletes if you haven’t purchased your items within an hour or so, which is incredibly frustrating as it means you cannot pick up and put down the app throughout the day. The search function is rubbish and shows a lot of irrelevant products even when you search for something specific. Further, it’s basically impossible to browse through products beyond the ones advertised on the home page which is awful and ruins the shopping experience in my opinion. Finally, and worst of all, you can no longer see the overall customer rating of products and can only a VERY selective subset of the full reviews, all of which are positive of course. Why would you not include this information when a) it is available on the website and b) provides real, unbiased insight into the products, which is arguably the most useful information??! Very disappointed, will avoid using the app in future until further updates are made.

So frustrated
The new version of the app is infuriating!!!! You can’t log into your account, there’s no wishlist, and browsing for products is nye on impossible. This would’ve only brought me down to two stars however, because at least it still does it’s job of letting you buy stuff right…wrong! The nail in the coffin is the fact when you try to checkout, it doesn’t let you proceed to payment! No matter how many times I’ve checked and rechecked my address and email, it does not work! The old app was a bit buggy but at least it did it’s job :(

Where’s the experience?
The app is so unrefined and feels like it has been designed with no thought to the user experience. ‘Filtering’ is not a good way of finding products, there needs to be product categories like any other shop would have. It’s ok if you know exactly what you want but I like to browse and discover new products. Not just search a massive list of names.

Wish it was more like the website
Would love to be able to see similar items when looking at a product makes it a lot easier to find new things especially as so many I forget the name of this helps me so much when shopping. Would also love having the reviews to scroll through really helps with my decision to see how others felt not just a couple of reviews

Needs a wishlist and basket review
Hi I love lush and the app is a really great start… However I found the lack of a Wish List frustrating because there is so much so many products to search through that I might not have time or money to buyRight away but would love to come back to. Also from the basket (and hopefully future Wish List) it would be handy to be able to click on the products from there and be taken back to review their information. This is really important when narrowing down which products to buy if there are several to compare and choose from. Otherwise it’s a case of going back and searching the product up which is much more labourious and time-consuming! Thanks for listening

Just why?
I was excited to see there was a new app as the old one had a few glitches but this has left me questioning what on Earth Lush were thinking! Firstly there is no log in / account / wish list so you have to go through all the products and add to basket from scratch. Then there are no categories to browse only a really hard to use filter. I was looking forward to seeing what was new for Easter but just gave up and ordered only things I needed to repurchase as I could type the names in the search. It then wouldn’t recognise my gmail email so I had to use an old yahoo mail one. I’m just baffled as to why making your customers experience more difficult was considered a good thing?

no account log in
love the design of the new app, except it seems to crash quite often, and also doesn’t fully load when you first go onto it and i have to go onto a different pages to finally get it to all load properly.
I also can’t seem to find a way to log in to your account when on the app, so i can’t access my wishlist, which is inconvenient really when all the things i tend to buy and would like to buy i have saved on there for easy access.

Where’s my wishlist ??!
I tried asking on Twitter but it seems they’re no longer using social media 😤.
But the new update is horrific. As someone with adhd it’s so confusing not having categories and is very distracting.
I regularly browse on the app to find new things to try out.
But not only are they harder to find but now there are no more descriptions?!! Instead just reviews. Which I prefer having a description rather than someone’s experience as I look for key things.
But the biggest thing that honestly hurt my feelings is the fact there is no more wishlist. I spend hours adding things to my wishlist for future presents. It was also useful for my dad (who has no sense of smell) as he knew what I’d like from lush for birthday/Christmas.
Having a wishlist was one of my favourite qualities as I could find products I’d like to try and save them in there for when I could afford them.
And it’s honestly a massive eyesore.
I highly doubt lush read their reviews after apparently coming off social media but they ought to as I’m not the only one upset by this update looking at other reviews.
Especially during a pandemic where online shopping is at a all time high and Is most accessible for highly vulnerable people like myself.

The update is really bad
It would be great if you could have some kind of feedback that you’ve added an item to basket, as you end up adding 3/4 of the same item and then you can’t change the quantity in the basket so you have to delete and go through the whole process again. It’s also saying my email isn’t valid and doesn’t match which is untrue. I’ve deleted the app, will shop on the website instead.

Excellent way to shop
I really enjoy learning about the products in a certain group like best for sensitive skin. The lens feature now being in the main app is also really helpful, I don’t have to switch between apps any more.

Love the products but not a huge fan of the app update
I can’t recommend Lush products enough and I love browsing the app to find new scents and products to end up with an exciting selection of items. Unfortunately the new update makes this difficult as there is no browsing feature just a search function so I am not sure if I can see the full range. When opening a product there is no longer the extensive detail on the signature scents and ingredients so I had to read all the reviews to find out what the product would be like - this made it difficult for me to figure out whether it was a product I’d want to order. I’m sure this app works great if you have already found a product, run out and need to reorder but not if you’re looking to replicate the in-store experience online. I have put off my order for now but am planning to use the website instead.

Terrible update
Since the update the app is terrible and I can’t use it at all. Tried to do an order but when I input my email it says it has to be valid?? I type and restyled and nothing works. Used my daughters email which it allowed then I couldn’t pay as it kept showing an error on the address page and wouldn’t move past it. Shame because my order was over £100 and now mush won’t get it.
The new layout is awful too. I don’t know anyone who likes it. I won’t be using it anymore and I’ve deleted it. Really bad move lush

Sleek design and a great new look
I really appreciate the new design of the app even if it is missing some options that make general browsing easier.
The new search function works 1000% better and the inclusion of lush lens has been really handy so I don’t now have to switch between apps or anything.
If you know what you’re after then this app is fantastic.
