Purchases won’t restore since move to subscription
I really don’t like this subscription requirement with no apparent option to buy individual effects any more. Even the ones I’d previously bought no longer seem to be useable.
The effects are nice little touches but the fact that I’ve lost access to the ones I’ve bought, even after a successful ‘restore purchases’, and every action tries to force me to pay a subscription means that this app will be uninstalled and I’ll find an alternative.

Waste of money
Paid for year and was unable to access the effects. Tried contacting via email but no reply. Every time I went in app it wanted me to purchase the effect: very confused as I paid £79.99 up front for a whole year. This was the second subscription for a year and year one was ok as was able to use the effects. But on renewing - nothing!

The vertical ratio doesn’t work
The vertical ratio doesn’t work, so I always have to cut my photos to a square size , very disappointed of it.. I don’t recommend it, the developer answers a year ago saying it would be fix but nothing, there was an update and nothing changed, this app is rubbish!

Doesn’t Work
Downloaded the app, opened it up and it just freezes constantly. They’re is literally nothing you can do in the app without it freezing. Very disappointing because this could be a really good app if it actually worked.

This used to be a fantastic app for adding effects to your photos. There was some paid content, which I purchased, but the developer would offer free packs from time to time. I downloaded these over the years and had a nice collection.
Sadly, and without any prior notice from the developer, an update was brought out which when downloaded erased all the “free” content you had downloaded. Initially there was no way to get this back unless you paid a one off fee of £19.99. I did try contacting customer service to help resolve this but they just ask you for receipts from the App Store. However, you will be unable to provide these as the free downloads do not show up in your purchase history. No matter what you say they will just reiterate that you must send receipts. So, although you can restore the paid features, the free content you collected as a loyal customer is gone forever.
The app has since had another update and they have removed the option of a one off purchase (which I may have eventually considered). Also, there is no longer an option to buy packs. Now, to use the content you must enter into a subscription of £97.99 per annum (yes, you read it correctly) although you can pay monthly etc. I was a little flabbergasted when I read this. Although I have no objection in the developer charging, I find this cost quite exuberant and a little greedy, especially as there are still issues with the app which are not yet resolved.
Looking at the App store to compare apps (to make sure my points in this review were not unreasonable) I found both Werble and Moving Pictures. I downloaded both of these and found they had additional features and some of the technology is superior to this app. Also, one of these apps is completely free and the other is a much more reasonable cost with affordable and value for money in app purchases. So, sadly I will now have to delete this app but on the plus side, at least I get to keep my £97.99!

AWFUL - STAY WELL CLEAR!
Downloaded this app after reading decent reviews - only to find certain actions were being ‘worked on’ and ‘improved’. Purchased a few effects to add to images, in readiness for these changes to occur...no changes...and effects that I cannot use, as the app still isn’t fully working properly. Tried asking for support only to be redirected to a blank page. STAY WELL CLEAR!

Used to be great - a real shame
Used to be a great app, which I used a lot but every time I use it now I find that previously included “free” effects now have to be purchased. Also made a few purchases previously which are not showing, or have to be purchased again, even when I try to restore them. A real shame.

Untrustworthy Developers
Initially loved this App, and upgraded to the premier version without hesitation. That’s when the problems began. The App’s vertical ratio stopped functioning meaning your unable to put filters onto pictures in portrait layout.
Contacted the developer’s “support” line on numerous occasions and got one reply saying “we are working on it”. It’s now nearly a year and still nothing!! Anyway I can get a refund from this thieving developer???

Not what is claimed on the box
A good program BUT you have to crop the area you want to add effect to. This effects images of persons or objects, so you are limited to portraits or close-ups.
Also it is not to align effects with small areas like mouths and uneasy to manipulate edit tools box with its erratic response to finger manipulation.

Poor design interface
The previous version of the app had more features and more control over the effects.
This latest update isn’t great - you need to bring back control of the opacity of effects - add new features don’t take useful ones away!

RIP OFF!
I paid for the watermark to be removed when the app first came out. Now after updating you are trying to charge me again for the watermark to be removed. Even after restoring purchases the watermark is still there.
You are also now charging for effects that were once free and only offering limited free effects.

Ruins my pictures
The effects are cool and what I’m looking for (though a little fake) but the app ruins the quality and resolution of my images as soon at I save it!! It’s ridiculous I’ve been playing around with it a lot and can’t get it not to have this effect and so I can’t even use the images I’ve created as they’re just terribly blurry and low quality.

Since the latest update all my paid for effects have disappeared and when playing around with the very few effects that remain you cannot then delete them. Horrid, won’t be using this until unless it goes back to how it was.

Not reliable
Dropping my stars to 2 after using updated version. Finding fees now applied to previously free effects not only means the developers are unreliable, it is marketing stupidity! After a long career in marketing that took me into the boardroom, I am amazed at the short sighted approach being taken, it simply means a lot of potential is certain to be lost. Reality is that a lot of users won’t trust the app again and are bound to bad mouth the developers.

Quick and easy cinemagraph effect

This app was great and I paid £3.99 to remove the watermark. At the last update which said “bug fixes” most of the free effects are now 99p each so the app is useless unless I pay even more. Feels like a huge rip off

Love this app, it's super easy to use to create a cinemagraph effect without needing to use a tripod. For the price (of removing the watermark) the effects aren't bad
