The worst maintained app

It never works for more than 1 minute. I’d happily pay after a week of seeing how it operates, if it did operate. Crashes any time you click on another part of the app. Can’t believe they leave it on this store. You’d be as well going door to door asking if people like to be spanked. You’d have more luck.

Unstable

The most unstable app I’ve ever known. Messages don’t always deliver, sometimes vanish, sometimes duplicate, random order of delivery, location is way off, pictures don’t work. Lots of buttons don’t work half the time. Like the three pins on the top right of profiles. Just a never ending loop of crap. Full of scammers too.

I saw some bad reviews but so far my experience has been positive, there is a constant stream of contact / however it’s very hard to determine where anyone actually is. Rather than +500km as most profiles show it would be good to provide an actual ‘nearest city’ - it really helps with interactions....

Never seems to approve any other app photo I submit and no helpline. Randomly deleted my description after typing it. App closes during messaging. Finally, it has the oddest directory of what it constitutes as bad language. Some normal words are highlighted red and then banned in profile or messages.

There is a new bug. After a while I can't log in. The app thinks I am a new user and asks me to sign up. There is no way to exit this page and log in. I have to reinstall the app every time this happens. Very annoying! Please fix!

An already glitchy app now useless after updates!

When it works this app is cool but has always crashed continuously and it's hit and miss as to whether or not you actually receive all messages sent to you. It often alerts me to messages but then won't show me the content. Today after being forced to update the app before I could read my received messages, it now seems incapable of showing photos, messages and doesn't respond when I touch anything on screen?! Tried deleting and reinstalling (as always) but no joy. Please fix this whiplr!

Good app, some excellent features and within a day of using it I am meeting up with people and chatting regularly to others. Bit unstable, keeps crashing and because of this I wouldn't pay for it (too expensive anyway) but with some work it could be awesome!

Doesn't work

Can't read messages despite re downloading a number of times and upgrading. Don't see the point in a messenger that doesn't accommodate messaging. Have sent a couple of emails to the team but no response as yet.

Rubbish -beware!!!

I downloaded the app and signed up. I stupidly went for the in app purchases and got stung - it suggested I would pay £7.99 a month but instead took a whole £89 for a year. I didn’t agree to that. I have tried complaining but they do not respond to messages. The in app purchases are pretty rubbish anyway since all they do is give you filter functions which is rather pointless as there is nobody using the app anyway. What is worse is that since installing the app and getting ripped off by these people the app won’t even work anyway. So I say beware of this company I think they are not what they seem and the app probably doesn’t work.

Thriving new dating app with a twist.

Whiplr is the new dating app with a twist to it. That twist is that it's a dating app for those with a exquisite taste for kinkiness. This app allowed you to find new people to and share what you like. In this app there are functions such as messaging, video and call settings, new and fun emojis and many more.

With this being a brand new app for the dating "market" bad things always follows and whiplr is no exception to this. Here are a few if not most of the never rice side to this other ways great app.

- When loading this app you will sometimes find that it either forces it self to reopen to app even when you're ditching or worse chatting to that new person you've found.

- If you are more in to let's say the Germany's, and you tap location to find some German people. You will find that it will stay in that function and you can freely clear that Dutch but once you've reopened this app you'll find it's back on the German search. (Which is what I've found)

- Once you've been talking to this magical person that you like, and you seem to have a message waiting for you, and you open the app and tap her/ his profile for the chat area and you can't see nor find it, but then you go out of the chat area and there you have it, his/ her profile with a message waiting for you.

So here was just a few for now to say. This is annoying but a few days ago the makes of this app updated the "buses" and realised exciting emojis and fixed some things but lots need to be more fixed.

This new application is not like you topical app hitch have been on the market for years. So the messaging area isn't like what's app/ Facebook messaging system.

Yes we all new it's new and all and they need to fix a lot of things but overall this is a great app for those who are getting in to the kinky side or already in it etc. This app is great but to be fantastic, the makers just need to fix a few things to make all used more much happy.

Great app with a few teething problems

Really good app for chatting to new people. Downloaded after an article on Engadget! Just crashes a few times and also the chat isn't always very smooth, with the need to go back a screen and re enter the chat for a message to appear. Hopefully they fix it up soon!
