Description

Midi:
- control iOS apps with hardware controllers that are connected to your Mac/Pc.
- sequence and play iOS apps using a DAW running on your Mac/Pc.

Abandoned and now useless
Installed this a few years ago.
Came back to use it on a different Mac. All their websites have disappeared. This app should no longer be available here, making it currently a scam as it’s impossible to install the desktop server software.
Hopefully nothing bad has happened to the dev, but if you see this, either take this app down or provide links to install the server plugins.

Turn your iOS apps into a Mac/PC controlled studio
This is a wonderful, revolutionary app - a bit rough around the edges, and the instructions could be clearer (and more up to date). However, after purchasing the app, reluctantly, to solve one problem (inability to hear iOS music apps within Cubase 10 Elements in MacOS Mojave, despite being able to send MIDI to them), I found that it addressed so many other issues that my iOS music app collection has been transformed into a Mac-controlled studio. Amazing. At one point I almost gave up with the app - but then restarted the server app on my Mac and things started to work. So...bear with it and you may get considerably more than you were looking for.

Bloody marvellous *****
This utility is a door into beautiful music and it smartly bridges the gap between IOS and Logic Pro. Clear and reliable interface allows me to work with the great apps on my iPad Air which collectively are not cheap and use them as plug ins on my desk top mac. Seamless and intelligent, it certainly requires you to come to an understanding of how and why it works in order to get the best out of it but once understood, read the manual it's very good, it brings all devices together and opens up the iPad as a neat outboard synth bank and fx processor.
A bright light just went on in the studio tunnel. Share with friends, buy it, support these guys, they are certainly supporting musicians with their excellent, crafted app. ✨

Each to their own...
For months I have been seeking & trying different apps and looking at ways in which I can integrate all my 2 iPhones and iPad into my Mac Mini. Without really knowing what is was I was looking for initially, when I found this app some reviews put me off buying. But after a few beers and class A's, I bought the app and struggled for a week or so to get my head round it. But now... I understand how this app works.. everything just works so brilliantly!
Yeh sure it may crash now n again but no where near enough to make me angry or throw my toys out. In fact the more I get used to this app, the less it now crashes. The apps on my idevices are brilliant, SynthMaster, Poison-202 l, NanoStudio etc and I just plain refuse to buy the Mac version of these plugins. Studiomux allows me to run all my iPhone/iPad synths into my favourite daws like Logic Pro x and Korg Gadget for Mac. I use 2 channels, 1 x for midi data and the other for audio recording in Logic (still experimenting with gadget). Now that I've found what I was subconsciously looking for and trying to achieve, I can actually just crack on and make music instead of experimenting with what initially scrambled my brain.
All the above is because my iPhone 6 couldn't cope with amount of synths and apps I was trying pump thru it. I wanted all my idevices to share the load... have a chinwag with each other and then work in perfect harmony. Thanks Studiomux

It does not work
Crashes frequently.
Will not load synths.
Will not stream midi clips to iPad.
Developers don't respond to emails.
Manual is garbage.
Do not purchase, it's a waste of money.

No good. Absolute garbage.
If I'd have read who the developer was I wouldn't have purchased. I know from their other apps there's absolutely zero support! App runs on device, server runs on PC but VST causes complete and catastrophic crash of DAW: I've tried it in 2 different ones. I've also tried it with my usual, rock solid ASIO drivers and also ASIO4ALL to rule that out. No joy, it doesn't work, complete waste of my time: 3 hours so far. Will be getting a refund from Apple.

Garbage - does not work in ios 10 / Sierra
This app does not work at all now. Before it was tedious and time consuming to set up now it is completely useless . Will try and demand a refund.

Great solution for integrating IOS within DAW on PC.
This App is working very nicely for me with my PC running Cubase. The virtual ports created per iOS device work flawlessly for MIDI and the audio side is also working very well via the VST connection although this does require a little more setup initially.
Overall a great single wire solution and also able to keep your iOS device charged whilst in use.
Also very well supported and continuing to be developed and refined. Highly recommended.

Yep it really works
took me a little bit of messing around to get it up and running, my mistake was trying to use the camera kit adapter which it didn’t like. However just plug in your normal usb charging lead, plug it into the mac and away to go. I use Ableton and just set the new input that appears (your iPad) and all of a sudden your streaming high quality audio straight in the DAW……..fantastic - buy it!
