I loved using Layout and used of daily. After downloading iOS on iPhone 8 Plus it doesn’t work. It’s dead! Messages to Apple and Meta ignored. Just shows how they like to take their customers for granted. Other apps stopped working too.

I used to use this app a while ago for organising photos on social media posts but had removed from my Home Screen when I needed to free-up some memory space on my iPhone.
Having downloaded it again I discovered that it doesn’t launch fully and kept force-closing, which annoyed me enough to delete it within minutes.
Had to give it one star to post this review but 1/5 is still being overly generous.
Don’t bother wasting your time or storage space. I now just need to find a decent alternative.

This app has helped so much as I can show all my photos in just one or two pings. I have this app both on my phone and my ipad. A while ago (several months) it stopped working on my ipad, but it was always finicky so I didn’t think much of it. Until I attempted to use it today on my phone. Nothing. I tried restarting, reinstalling. Nothing. It simply will not work. If I tap the screen while it loads up it crashes instantly. The app barely functioned before this, full of crashes if you dared to move above a snails pace. Hardly a shock it hasn’t been updated in years.

This used to be so useful for creating one image showing multiple products posts - I was told it was better to have one photo on an Instagram page as many people would not flick through the others . Sadly after the latest Apple iPhone update I can’t open this app and so it now is totally useless and so I’ve had to delete it. Most of the other apps have collage backgrounds which might be fine for fun posts but no use for business posts. I’ve tried to seek help but nothing useful popped up. It was brilliant while it worked.

This app is the best! It gives you lots of options such as recents animated and screen shots. It is great for flower pictures and putting them together. This app is really easy to use and saves time. You can have tons of photos, then put them into one. Also you have different layouts, if one doesn’t work. In all, it is a really good design and more people should know about it!

Since having a terrible memory I used to take (literally) hundreds to thousands of photographs per month or two; also - I studied graphics and loved photography for a decade at least so having so many photos would be at least… expected?
However; this app no only helped me save a lot of space, it lets me use my creative skills! Helps me organise my photos, my gallery, my memories and even more!

I do love this app it’s simple easy and creates great collage pics for any social media posts! I have up to date version of app and have deleted abs restored the app but for weeks now the app just crashes randomly abs I loose what I was working on. It’s so random that I can’t pin point why it’s happening!
Hope it will get a bug fix or update soon so I can continue to use it as I do really like this app abs have used it for years!

Okay,I really like this app because it makes some fantastic lock screens and collages!
I installed it using the Instagram feature and I think it’s the best thing I have downloaded on my apple I phone and I have found it pretty hard to find a good collage maker app thingy.I am in charge of making most group icons and some shared TikTok pages profile pictures!It has been quite hard for me as I said to find a good app to carry out what pictures need to be pot together for a group icon on WhatsApp!This app is completely free and most apps- like this one-cost a gob-smacking monthly fee!I do not want to play a monthly fee so this app is perfect for everything (collages)I want to make online.

How popular is this app? Clueless. Thank you for keeping it up and running, though. It’s usefulness comes in when we least expect it: a review of a product w/ limited photo uploads is one example. But, I’ll go as far as saying it’s critical importance is life or death, cake or no cake, important! I mean, if I was in Guantanamo before Layout was available, I’d be Royaley screwed! Sooo... I downloaded this app and was amazed and made loads of pictures. But... it only lets you have nine pictures in the layout and on my friends phone, when she tried to download it, it kept on refreshing and it always deleted what they made!!! And i know there is another app for this but it should let you rite on the collage without having to pay because i do not know if it is the same owner as the other app but you have to pay to write and that is not very nice because that is the whole point of the app!!!😳🙄😬😑😐!!

I used to love this app and it was my go-to for every collage that I made for Instagram. However, recently it has become so complicated to use that I rarely bother anymore. I can’t figure out how to find my photo albums on it to make new collages and have to restart it every time so that it gives me a prompt to add new photos. It used to be absolutely brilliant - I’m so disappointed that is has gone downhill :(

I love this app because it’s so easy and simple to use. you can use it to mash photos together and it’s always really great for making memories and when your having a bad day it reminds you of great times you had with your friends or family and not just one photo you can fit to about 9 photos on each layout!!!

I like this feature, but had to lookup how to use it on google. To start using it you have to click on the camera icon on Instagram’s homepage whereas I thought you would use it within your own homepage. Maybe easier for those who are more ‘hands on’, but will definitely use it again. Will get easier the more I use it.

The app is great to showcase images with the option to filter and edit if you haven’t already done that in any other editing method. However the one thing I would like to see happen in Instagram Layout is the ability to move pictures around the grid to place them in a more aesthetically pleasing way i.e. all blue shots together, green shots together et cetera..

Omg this app is amazing and I need it in life.I would just recommend it to work on wifi and I really want u to allow more pics if u are reading this can u plz have a go at upgrading to that. My favourite app is this app I couldn’t live without it and if u make a better version of it and on another app I would get it and plz let me have at least one of those added into the app .who ever made the app they are amusing and Sophie r u were so right as well

This app is amazing since you can easily edit and make thumbnails in a few minutes or less you can print them off and give to a friend as a card or just do it for fun I am rubbish at editing but this app mAkes it so so so so easy to make pictures the best that they can be

So much easier than the other collage apps
I love the way when you select the pictures you want in a collage, it automatically puts them into multiple options for you to chose the look/layout you want. Other collage makers have you select the layout first rather than the pictures, which is uninspiring and time consuming.

I love this app! It’s great for memories and loads of pictures combined in one! I use this app for my WhatSapp picture, I would highly recommend this app for loads of fun things in the past. Although you can’t really use it for Instagram, but I still recommend it.

I have a small gift shop with a page on Instagram. This app helps me a lot. I don’t have the funds at the moment to have a website or use professional photos, but with this app I’m able to present my goods in a fairly presentable way!! Plus it’s super easy to use!!

Honestly I think there’s nothing wrong with it because sit works fine for me and I have had no problems.
I wouldn’t give layout a 5 star because not everything is perfect and layout has some ups and downs but overall it’s a really good app for art and picture collages on Instagram
I use layout quite a lot as I like photography.....

This app is a great app! I would totally recommend it. I’m not that old myself(with small photography skill) but this app allows you to pick out the photos you like and put them in the order you want! It also gives you a variety of options of sizes that you can choose what picture goes in the centre or what goes in the biggest space at the top etc. Once your done, it saves the in you camera roll in the exact way you edited it on Layout! Super way to store memories without having to scroll through you photons to find pictures to show because you can make them into one! I would definitely recommend this app and it saves a LOT of time😄😄😄

I love this app!!! This app is great for catching memories and storing them. One of the reasons why this app is so amazing is because it’s such a simple and easy thing to do. You can get as many as 6 -7 photos in one and you can get each photo the size u want.♥️😄the only problem is that you can’t change the colour♥️😭😭but please could you write back because I really would think that is good😄👍🏼but I’m not complaining and mabey you can change the colour but I can’t now because I have only had this app for a couple of a day😄♥️♥️😂one more thing this is more of a app that u don’t go one a lot it’s the one in the background it’s not a fun game it’s a fun app♥️♥️I lover this app and if the owners are reading this can u reply to this, I would 100% recommended this if you like to catch and save your memories ♥️😄😄😂

I’m very in orginised and layout really helped my kind of put everything into one way. Let’s take photos for example I have lots of pictures of people and things half of the time I don’t even need so using the app really showed examples of how I could A: set out my work
B: get organised really and take a step into reality instead of phocusing on something completely inappropriate.

I like the layout of it, but 8/10 times or crashes when you go to choose the layout after selecting your photos; which is super annoying if you scrolled through a lot of photos to find the old one you want to compare to a recent one. It’s been happening for months, maybe even a year. Going to stop using because of this.

Thank you for such a great app - easy to use and so creative - however creating collages is not so straightforward, even less getting the right size images if you do not want them randomly cropped. Just a little tweaking on your part could make it the perfect experience...

It also lets you to add text onto the picture and make it different shapes and sizes. You can also turn it into different shades like Clarendon, Gingham, moon and lark etc

Simple and easy to use. Best to edit photos before using this app and once layout created only one filter variation can be added to full layout image. This app has inspired me to be more experimental with my camera and created some great finished pieces to share on instagram. Great for beginners.

This app was perfect within the first 1 month. Then a problem started with it. First I was not able to put any image but some. Then it was t able to save my images to my camera roll which was really disappointing. Also, though the last 1-2 weeks I was able to see that as soon as I put 2 or more images everything was blurring. That was one of my major problems because although yes you can put them together you can’t actually see the images.

I personally think this app is amazing for editing photos and putting them in cute orders to put in photo frames . Also if you have I instagram with some of your close friends on you could post a big photo of all of your close friends and that would look really cute . So I think you should definitely get this app it is amazing

I’m surprised so few of the reviews mention what I consider to be one of the most major flaws of this app: you can’t edit or add a different filter for each picture within a collage. I’m trying to create a simple collage with you pictures, and I’d like to increase the structure on one of the pics. I can’t do that within this app. Instagram is the only app I know which has a structure editor but you’d have to export your collage from Layout to Instagram and apply filters on the whole collage not just one pic - that’s a HUGH problem that I can’t believe hasn’t been brought up yet - I mean layout is literally just a layout app with some frames. How have developers missed this massive design flaw? It doesn’t even offer as many frames as 3rd party apps.

You can make collages of you and your friends or family and I highly recommend this app.
You don't actually need to have Instagram to get this app.I got this app and don't have Instagram sooo.....
I think it is a brilliant app as you can show all your photos together!!
There are several layout choices for how you want to lay each pic... you choose!!
The max amount of pics you can add to each layout is 9 but.... if you make several layouts then you save them you can put them all in one!!!!
