Before, in this app you used to be able to simply swipe to meet someone now they introduced a new complex system where you have to invite them and wait. The developers seem to have deliberately sabotaged their own app for profit. Bans ruin the experience

I’ve been using for some time now and recently I’ve just been getting banned for the most ridiculous things (such as making a mutual joke) sometimes even for things I haven’t done (people just report for no reason). I think the Azar team needs to bring in a new update where the ban feature isn’t a week long?? It takes away from the experience and ruins it especially since it bans you from messaging too which I find completely unnecessary. came across Azzar after using Omegle for years. As many know, Omegle was shut down due to increasing concerns around user safety, inappropriate behavior, and lack of effective moderation. While the original idea behind Omegle was to connect strangers for open, anonymous conversations, the platform unfortunately became a haven for misuse.

I personally used Omegle (and now Azzar) with a genuine goal – to offer help to people, particularly through medical advice and support, as I’m a qualified doctor. My intention has always been to listen, uplift, and provide assistance to those who may not have someone to talk to. However, it’s disheartening to say that Azzar seems to be heading down a similar path as Omegle if changes aren’t made.

Most of the time I try to speak to someone, I’m either skipped the moment I mention my purpose, or I come across users sitting in bed, clearly on the app for reasons that have nothing to do with meaningful conversation. There’s a disturbing trend of users only looking for inappropriate or suggestive interactions, and it’s creating an unsafe, unwelcoming space for people who just want to talk or get help.

To the developers of Azzar: You have a platform with great potential, but please consider tightening your moderation and reporting systems. Implementing better identity verification, intention-based filters, and active monitoring could massively improve user safety and create a healthier community. There are real people on your app with real needs – don’t let them be pushed away by those abusing the platform.

THE WORST SUSPENSION SYSTEM

This app is very good to use when you are able to use it but I have many times been suspended for short periods at a time just because of 1 report from stupid people who I have not even verbally abused a single person or displayed any form of offensive behaviour. Although I understand the need for account suspension for people who do not actually follow the rules, there should be a new system where if there are multiple counts of reports from different people then investigate and suspend. This app is awful for safety of users. I have had multiple men masturbating with their penis in full view who I report and then see again 10 mins later. The report button comes up randomly after some of the chats and people will press it quickly to get rid of it which then leads to being suspended for weeks at a time regardless of if you have actually done something inappropriate.

This happened to me and I can hand on heart say I wasn’t doing anything that was against the rules however when I report and explain to them to literally watch footage/read chats/ monitor me I get the same autogenerated message.

Don’t waste your time on this app, you will spend money on gems and then get suspended for no reason or due to pettiness of other people.

Avoid this app

This app has full of racist people and they report you for no reason when they donot like to see you. Also they suspend you account or no reason when someone report even just for fun.

If you want to get abused by people verbally then the best thing is to delete this app and find your peace.

Needs tweaking

Overall the app itself is great the reliability is good and the connectivity quickness as well as many of the other features but I do think that the gem pricing for gender matching is a bit steep as it’s 19 gems per person you connect to even a sum of 15 gems would be better your forced to spend a ok a somewhat reasonable price on gems only to have it ruined by the steepness of the gems taken back by each match

Biggest froud i ever seen , you pay soo Much money to get vip membership and you are not even aloud to send text message to anyone !!!!!!!!! You have to pay extra money to send message or anything even for the search profile you have to pay soo much money !!!! They have taken off the ability to do one time country selection for a week, instead, u have to be vip, I have no issue with that, but when u click vip it says I’m already vip from another account, (god knows which account that is coz I’ve tried all my accounts) . Don’t tell me to go and chat on help tab coz I’ve done that I don’t think the person responding to email understand basic English or care about the query. Honestly what’s the big deal in one time weekly purchase for country selection? Who’s brilliant idea was it to stop it, sack him coz I’ve spent so much on this app more than 1000 pounds and now I’m deleting this. Unable to purchase gems?

Trying to purchase gems but for some reason your apps freezes on ‘waiting for payment’ ..... I’ve not yet made my purchase so it shouldn't be saying that.... if its a technical issue you should fix it asap as i’m trying to buy gems which obviously helps support your ‘business’ lol. Reinstalled the app a few times and yet it still says the same :s ??

You pay over £13 and they threaten to ban you.

Awful experience.

I wanted to meet new people online to chat to and hopefully befriend (since it’s quite lonely during quarantine).

I payed the monthly fee to experience the most on the first few chats and to filter out unsafe content.

The price was very expensive, I believe it was just over £13.

I’ve selected to chat to both genders and everyone turned out to be a male even when it shows a female on screen/name, they barely speaks a word of English and they show lots of nudity without consent.

Then I wrote in my bio that I’m not looking for that sort thing, I just wanted to chat with good people and the app dared to delete my bio and give me a warning and threatened to ban me if I did it again.

’Shocked’ is an understatement.

Strangers in world in Azar is terrible

This Azar app is horrible because it was young and adult women and men in international were bad behaviour, too proud, lack of respect and politeness, abusive languages. They are childish and idiots.

When most people looked at you and your face in camera live then they swiped you without talk or chat because they think you are crap and bored person. But there is few nice and good people.

I saw there was many asian kids is still cam live in Azar, they are from Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and India. This Azar app must for adults only, it is not safe for kids!!!

Disappointed

When we choose gender, we sometimes meet agents who work for azar to watch people behavior. The problem is that we lose credits with them .. and this is ridiculous!! Why do you deduct gems from our credit in that case??

Also when we check history and tap on talk it will automatically add that person without our permission and we lose 450 gems; that is really frustrating !!!

I hope you can do something as I’m thinking to quit Azar and find another application.

Good app, bad people

Ok so I got this app about a year ago and started speaking to so many good people, who were smart and funny, but now it is bad, there are too many horny men who want to show everyone their dicks, and I’ve seen kids on this app before. Im not saying this is the creator’s fault, I just think they should ban more people and make there an option to report people so that the creators can remove certain people

Good however...

I enjoy the app but you need to up the security in any way you can! Too many weird people doing things that shouldn’t be there and should be banned or at least a report feature if it isn’t already in place.

I understand the purchase side of things but really we have to purchase the feature to use the rear camera? It’s a default on anyone who purchases an Apple product shouldn’t have to pay to use it as well.
