Being able to open a YouTube song in Apple Music and vice versa was one of the best thing about this app for me and I don't know why you removed it? :(

Description
Opener is an app that allows you to open links from the web in apps instead! Copy a link and launch Opener to see the apps that it can be opened in, or use Opener's action extension right from other apps! Opener currently supports over 280 apps with more being added all the time.
In addition to opening links in apps, Opener also supports:
- Opening links in any browser of your choice.
- Previewing links from a variety of popular services using 3D Touch.
- Opening the Google AMP version of pages, which are significantly faster than normal web pages.

I deleted this app, but I cannot fix the damage
I would like to know how to fix this. The in-app safari browsers are not integrated with my passwords or my paywalled readers, so this app has for years made everything a pain to use. Every time I am in an app and I open a link, generally ai immediately open it again in safari, and I have to wait for it to load twice. Even though I have deleted the app it has adjusted the settings for every other app. How do I fix this?

Bought this for promise to open links in the core t app. I was having tik tok and pinterest stories found in safari when clicked kept taking me to the App Store (even though apps were fully up to date) and when you click open from there it takes you to the app home page rather than the story you want. Bought this so than when clicking on links it would take me to the right app and I could view content but still takes me to the App Store and long hold on tik tok in browser doesn’t provide links stated in these instructions either. Doesn’t do what I need it to do, so complete waste of money.

Not working for me
I presume this is supposed to copy a url from the clipboard so you can associate it’s type with a particular app. Well I’ve been trying for hours to get it to open a standard rtsp://CameraStream:554 in VLC Player with out any luck. It simply does not copy anything from the clipboard (even though the clipboard contains a URL and iOS confirms it pastes it into Opener and the VLC app seems to be supported). Opener just remains with the message “no link on clipboard to open” and because there is no other way to enter one I cannot associate any url with any app!

Disappointed...
I thought it would be the case that you could set it to for example open all Reddit links on safari in my chosen Reddit app, automatically. All any LinkedIn links, etc. But no, it's appears you have to click share then basically share that individual link to 'Opener' and then chose the app you want each time.... Seem bloody pointless to me.

Actually useful...
Because iOS is so locked down, a lot of utilities prove a lot less useful than you hope. This one actually does solve problems and remove inconveniences on a regular basis :-)

No clear instructions and does not work for me. Hoping Apple will refund me for this app.

Must have utility
Excellent enhancement to the iOS experience. This is functionality which should really be part of iOS but in the meantime, this app is a godsend for people who want to choose alternatives to default apps or use links which open in the browser instead of the app.

Can’t believe I never found this sooner. So much of my typical iOS usage is finding web links in different apps and now I’m able to effortlessly open them in my preferred app. Great for opening Wikipedia pages in Wikipanion, or Reddit links in Apollo!

Inaccurate location
When passing location info from iOS Maps to Google Maps (the primary reason I got this app) the result is very inaccurate - not sure why. Does the app use GPS coordinates, was this property tested for different countries?

iOS gets a lot better with this deceptively simple app
Do you want your reddit links to open in the reddit app instead of Safari? Use this.
Fed up with watching YouTube videos in the awful web-interface? Use this.
I hate it when I have apps on my iPad that present content perfectly but links to their stuff opens the web version in Safari instead. This app eliminates the problem I’d say about 95% of the time and they are adding support for more apps all the time.

Great app
Simple and effective. Highly recommended! Would pay for it!
A feature request: it would be nice to be able to choose/set your favourite/preferred apps for opening links in advance, within settings. Because currently you have to try to open the link, get promoted to open it in multiple apps, and only set it then. Which you can forget, because at that point in time you'd be more interested in just opening the link instead of setting the preferences.

A lovely little app that fills a gap
Once you get used to it - it makes iOS so much nicer to be able to switch from Safari to proper app quickly
