Very Repetative- good concept
Definitely a gap in the market for a band management app.
Some nice moments- but extremely repetitive from level 21 onwards.
A poor rebadging of Football Chairman. Not worth putting the time in.

Gets a bit boring. Just touring and making songs.
There should be more options, rather than doing the same thing all the time. You should be able to control the band members separately. Give them warnings or talk to them about their antics - being in prison or smashing things up etc.

Not really much to do
Once you get to the top 100 it become repetitive and too much of A grind.Theres also a lack of interactions it’s just doing the same thing over and over again for a long time until you reach no.1. I wish there were more options and that somethings don’t take ages.And it’s also hard to grow fans money or sales once u reach the millions.i have also been playing since maybe 2015/16 and now just started again these past few months and it has been the same game ever since.If it needs to improve it needs a massive update

Awesome game
This is pretty good and addictive little manager game.
Though, it would be lovely to have something else inspiring the band than the ’Bottles’, it seems my band is fully alcoholics at the age of 18.

Good game but..
The game starts of quite challenging but once you get past a certain level you start running out of things to do and honestly it gets quite repetitive.
The option to name your own songs would be a nice touch since the song names reappear fairly often.
I found myself even purposely sacking band members and not renewing record deals etc just for something different to do after a while out of boredom of repetition.
This game has potential but NEEDS an upgrade/update. Currently at #55 in artist list.

Overall a good game, except for a few bugs here and there, especially that one where the buttons don't respond sometimes. I wish you would add customization for the characters though.

Repetitive later on
It’s a good game but later on all you can do is record albums, write songs, tour and holiday. If there was more tasks later on it would make the game better. And if you retire and create a record label it would also be brilliant. But it gets boring later on. Good game

It starts off really exciting, Fun and somewhat challenging. After first world tour becomes very repetitive and dull

Very good game until...
It's a very addictive management game, but unfortunately it dives right off a cliff after the first world tour. There's absolutely nothing else worth sticking around for. Write, record, tour, holiday. Repeat ad nauseam. Your bank account will dip slightly as you record the album, then go right back up to where it was during the tour.
Maybe it'll be a great game one day. Think I'll just delete it for now.

Later levels need investment
I really enjoyed the first element of the game, getting a small band exposure and balancing investment vs reward.
Once you've 'made it' and got to a world tour the levels are endlessly repetitive.
I invested £1.99 in a 'tour manager' as I felt the developers deserved that for a game I've spent quite a bit of time enjoying.
This game could have a bright future with some thought on life after the 2nd album, rather than endless world tours perhaps bespoke stadium and festival circuits.... greatest hits tours rather than constant l new music.... maybe let the band have 2 or 3 years off as per the norm for the biggest acts in the world.
A little more work on the aesthetics could be good too, some animation would be ace.
Good game tho, worth a play for sure - support the Dev team with an in app purchase !

Great at beginning, boring afterwards.
The beginning of the game is fantastic, balancing your money with writing EP's, gigging at local venues and working your way up from support acts to headliners. Impressing scouts, signing to record labels and writing albums is also very enjoyable and at that point the game is one of my favourites I have ever played on IOS. However after your first album there is no real interesting features anymore, as you go on world tours over and over again, releasing albums to the point of boredom. You write 5* albums at an unbelievable speed. What band releases nearly 2 top selling albums a year!?
Overall a fun little game with potential to be so much more if the developers can sort out the repetitive nature of album releases.

Too Repetitive after your First World Tour
A nice little game at the beginning, then its boring as hell once you have done your first world tour. It's pretty much scripted, no real difference between the levels, other than the number of records you have to sell to get to number one, there is no real sense of autonomy, you just write songs, record an album, then a video, promote a single & album then go on tour, you carry on doing this for 20 odd levels.
The GUI pretty looking, a bit clunky in places and could do with improvements.

This is a great game! A little tricky at first if you don't use in app purchases, but once you start releasing albums it's extremely addictive seeing how well your band are doing and how many records they are selling!

Love it but with how we can choose a set list I think we should be able to put what order we want the songs instead of them going in date order. I also think it would be pretty cool if we could custom design our own band members. Choosing more then one single per album would also feel a it more realistic but loving the game so addictive

Fantastic Game!
I've played Superstar Band Manager for hours and have found very addictive; I would highly recommend it. This review however is mainly for the developers:
Well done, great game but here are a few things that I feel would make the game 'perfect' in every way for a band management game:
1. When recording an album you shouldn't be limited to 12 songs. It would be great if there was a choice. Say between 10-18 songs. This should have an effect on record sales - if the songs are mostly low ratings then the fans would expect more songs. If the songs are all 5 star then the fans would be happy with 8-10 songs per album. You would then select one of the same songs on the album for the single and you'd then have to close 2 other recorded songs for the b-sides.
2. It would be great if you could release a 'complication' or b-side album where you just release a load of songs that you don't want to put on a proper album. The band shouldn't get angry when you don't go on tour as it isn't a proper album.
3. This feature isn't so important but it would be cool if over the course of the bands career you could release a couple of greatest hits albums of the most popular songs.
If any of these (preferably no. 1) were to be implemented into the game it would make it the best free management game on the App Store and totally worth the time. Thanks.
