Deleted my project twice

Like the title says, it’s a really good app that I found easy to pick up but I can’t get over the fact that it deleted an almost finished project that took hours to do twice and gave me no reason why, just came back in the app and it was gone. I hadn’t deleted anything relating to it and doing research hasn’t helped at all, I don’t want to trust it again and get the same result, sorry!

Great app

I used it to make a video for my son’s birthday. Having used other apps in the past on both my iPhone and my Mac this is definitely so so much easier to use. When I couldn’t figure out a feature, a simple google search normally would solve the problem. Overall very happy with it. I used the free trial and cancelled it just because I really rarely use it(sorry) but would definitely recommend it and will probably pay for the monthly subscription next year for the next video :-)

So basicallyyy I got this app bc I was fed up of using iMovie as it was pretty basic and I would recommend if ur parents don’t want u to have capcut like mine as it barely have any ads which is good 👍 only get ads if u want to unlock stickers that r in a premium pack or smth and it’s totally private so u can’t chat w anyone through the app obvi some things u need premium but it it is a great app and the editing tools are acc super advanced the ONLY thing is that u can’t take vids/photos through the app which is a bit annoying but it’s not a major thing goodbye thank you

Good but one very annoying problem

This is a great app however, I’ve been making my friend a birthday edit with multiple different songs and lots of emojis and stickers to match the lyrics but the emojis keep moving all over the place to different parts of the video and it’s very annoying because then I have to go back and redo it all over again. InShot app lost my video

I had a 14 minute video draft which has completely disappeared from the app. I was about to save it, left the app to check my storage, went back on the app and the video is no longer on the app. Only the option to create a new one.

I beg the team at InShot to help recover this draft, as it should still exist, it has not been deleted by me and the app storage remains the same.

If there is no resolution I absolutely do not recommend this app as you may lose all of your hard work just like me. I am very upset by the InShot app having a bug like this.

InShot was a really good video editor. However, I’m not sure whether this is a widespread problem or confined to my device, but for some reason the app has become incredibly glitchy, for instance: I am unable to extract audio, long time projects deleting for no reason, pop ups telling me that videos from projects are no longer available, despite them still being present on my device. Until these problems are fixed, this app is entirely useless.

Key frame bug

Frustrated & Disappointed – No Response to My Subscription Issue

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of response regarding my subscription restoration request. I have reached out multiple times via email and TikTok, yet I have received no assistance or acknowledgment.

I paid for InShot Pro, and I expect to be able to use the features I purchased. Despite following all the recommended steps, I still cannot restore my subscription on my new device. What’s even more frustrating is being completely ignored by your support team.

I trusted InShot as a professional tool, but this experience has been nothing short of disappointing. Is this how you treat paying customers? Ignoring support requests only damages your reputation.

I demand a prompt response and resolution to this issue. If I continue to be ignored, I will have no choice but to leave negative reviews and look for alternative apps with better customer service.

This app is amazing!!!! 😻 It is one of my most used and most helpful apps!!! You can create so many cool videos on there and add effects. Also, it gives you tools to use when editing that make your vids look incredible. Many hours of work lost

I have used this app for over 2 years and it has never disappointed me - until now. A video I have spent 2 days editing is refusing to export due to lack of cache space even though I have already cleared all the cache space in the app. There is no customer support contact either. I guess I will have to download a different video editing app and start over.

I love this app. I initially downloaded it as I like to make edits of squid game in spare time. Now usually I don't write reviews but I thought I would because why not. This app has some really good features like the ai effects which work very smoothly. The text is good as well. My only problem would be is at the start I didn't really know how to edit so a suggestion could be is that when you first click the app when recently downloaded it could give you an option for a tutorial on where things are and how that works. Another thing is the song range. I was looking for a song and I had the name I typed it into the search bar and nothing came up so I had to try work my way around it. Best game ever I’m 8yrs and i wanna make a music video

THE hero of all editing

This app is an editing phenomenon. I have been editing on it since day one and particularly after actually performing an after effects style edit on this app successfully with all its smooth incredible transitions unlike any I’ve seen on other apps, I was successful and it looked better than I could have imagined…after that I willingly went on App Store just to write this review..without the friendly suggestion by the app, I wanted to myself and wanted to put the time in because this app is really worth it and the only I’ve seen where they kindly consider broke creators like me and allow free removal of their company label on your work…allowing you to fully promote yourself through your videos although you’re using their humble aid and ingenious equipment…plus many more AI integrated and AFTER-EFFECTS like features built in alone…the kindness and quality I’ve explained they offer should sum up the kind of app you’re looking at downloading…stick with inshot all the way…it will help with any and all editing and will not let you down!!!!! Paid for but unusable. Tried to get support totally ignored by developer.

This app no longer opens videos or clips that are on iCloud not the iPad. Cant open loads of drafts. Can add new clips. And have sent MANY EMAILS AND MESSAGES INKY TO BE IGNORED. So paid fir a year got a few months worth of usage. Been in contact with Apple not the iPad. All up to date. i have an iPad Pro. Only a couple of years old. Edit to respond to INSHOT. I have tried your’fix’ but that means for a 1 minute video that is make up of 30 clips I have down load 30 videos. This didn’t used to be a problem. I also have not moved anything pretty much everything is on the cloud so when I make a video it needs to download from the cloud. And when I try and build a new video it won’t download new clips for a new video from iCloud either. I mean what a lot of time to have to download everything to my phone before I can use the app! THAT IS LOOOOOOOOOONG!

Shocking amount of data theft!

I’ve been using the paid for version of InShot now for a couple of years, and it is a fantastic app. However, this is a very important point they have recently change the data capture options and it takes about five minutes to opt out all the various scam artists they have made partnerships with in order to sell your data!!! So, rather than have just a simple opt out of all button (bare in mind the version of InShot I am using is paid for), the team at InShot have elected to make the job of going through all the various scam artists they’ve partnered with so arduous that most people will give up before they get halfway through the list of 100 (no joke) or so data capture pirates they’ve chosen to do business with. Well done InShot team you’ve really done a fantastic job of ruining what is a perfectly good app..

InShot is an amazing app and has almost every useful feature you could possibly ask for that you for some reason don’t see in other editing apps like CapCut and Splice, it’s also free and only displays ads when you save a video to your phone. One negative I noticed is a saving issue, when you save a draft, if your a regular user with 200+ drafts like me then if you make a draft and leave it for a month or so, I’ve noticed most of the time you can’t access that

Draft again because of a saving error or just some bad app and ui design, this does not change the fact InShot is a great option and I’m my opinion it’s better than CapCut for most things, CapCut is like it’s fun little brother where InShot may not have as many cool ai features, but it’s really easy to use and has all the key elements and features you need in an editing app, overall; keep it up guys!

Brilliant! Could do with a few updates!

InShot is a brilliant, helpful and multi purpose video editing software which - in my opinion - tops even the great, well known apps such as cap cut and iMovie. When using InShot, the possibilities are endless as to how you can create your video. I have been using InShot for around two years and updates come around every month or two.

There are just a few suggestions I would like to make to improve this almost perfect software; firstly, a ‘fade’ option to make photos/videos less vibrant or colourful. Secondly, to expand the fonts and drawing techniques and lastly, to add a animation aspect where you could animate using stop motion or FlipaClip techniques.

Overall an awesome video-editing software and I strongly suggest downloading!

I am proud enough to say that this app is recommended for anyone that enjoys photography and editing! Although Im a little bit young I enjoy this app and the techniques that are included! I love making quick catchst videos with InShot and it’s the perfect app. I would also say there is one negative unfortunately and you may not agree :(.

So I know your app wants to make money but at the same time you want it to be enjoyable, and the problem is , is that the best tech things are for premium or whatever and that spoils the reviews. I understand and respect that you want to make a bit of Manet but think about what people are saying! You can make a difference!!!! But anyway this app is amazing and I hope others think that too .

Good value

I’m only really writing this review so the developers may see some of the features which would be cool.

The main thing I want added to this app is more text options, such as a glow effect, more animation options for the text, being able to make it bolder or italic. Also, it would be nice if I was able to keep the text in the same box whilst the words appear at different times as that would allow for better tracking options and just makes everything easier.

Also the cut out feature could do with an improvement.

This is without a doubt the best editing app I have on my phone it is amazing it even has voice editors if you want to sound like a girls or boy or maybe a robot or you want to sound like you are on the phone on a call and many more it is amazing and I love it the only thing I would say bugs me a lot is that it doesn’t have many languages to choose from this happens to almost every app there is barely any language choices but don’t get me wrong the app is still amazing it is just I wish that the languages choice could have more variations bye everyone hope you like my review best of luck to every fellow editor

My true review

I think InShot is an amazing and well made app, it (in my opinion) is very close to perfect, and also another great thing is that it is free well not completely because it does say that there are xtra editing undoes which cost money but it is the only good editing app I found that lets you do a lot without spending anything.

However the reason I didn’t rate this app a 5 star is because when you add a gif it sometimes lasts for too long and then covers up the ext you put. But this is not a massive problem i would still highly recommend InShot and i told my sister that she should download it when she gets her iPad for Christmas.

I have been making videos for quite a while now but none of them have been that great because I didn’t have the right editing platform and when i found InShot i was out of his world (and if I’m being honest I think i was being a bit rough on giving InShot 4 stars but i thought if i did maybe they would take my feedback and fix that little tweak) thank you tot he person who made InShot for making my videos better .

Not working - I’m using InShot pro.

Really frustrated as I edited a 8 min long video down to a 3 min video with at least 25 trims in it, after I was finished editing the video I tried downloading it every way possible (format, resolution etc.). But I haven’t got anywhere and I can’t download it - it jumps to 10% at the start, back down to 0% then pauses for around 30 secs then a pop up comes up saying ‘processing interrupted’. I am using an iPhone and I have no storage problems as I have at least 80gb left on my phone, have looked everywhere for answers to why it isn’t letting me download the video and nothing. I have used InShot for the last few years on my Samsung and no problem which is why I had got a permanent InShot pro subscription - please help me find a resolution or fix the bug/problem. I wish to keep using InShot to edit my videos as I find it amazing and simple to use, I would appreciate some help so much.

Really good, but limited and also Bugs!

I like it, I use it a lot for my videos but sometimes I would have a hussle when it comes to exporting it, especially videos that I put alot of time and effort to editing. I use inshot in my macbook and somehow there's a bug since when I export longer videos that contain less editing and it exports fine but when I export shorter videos that have a lot of effects or chops it would export but get stuck in a certain percentage and it would stay there for about half a minute. Afterwards it saids "Export interupped" and I don't close the application or turn off my macbook, It's literally a bug in this app. Inshot please fix this.

Worth downloading, a great app!

I downloaded this app just a few days ago and the more I play around with it, the more I realise how comprehensive it is. It's great fun to use and fairly easy for anyone (I am 76 in a few weeks!). I love the choice of music, the transitions, access to Giphy type moving stickers and so much more. My only gripe is that I cannot adjust the size of the photo in my timeline by pinching with two fingers or zooming out with two fingers plus I did email the Developers for help but to date have no reply. I have since sorted the problem myself.

I have only used LumaFusion before which is an excellent and comprehensive professional app, but I find InShot to be more fun and easier to use. Thank you InShot, what's not to like 😬

Best free video editing tool

I hate ads, like really hate ads, but this app places them where they aren’t inconvenient! They offers a great service for free. unlike others you don’t need the premium version to remove watermarks (you can watch a ad to remove it, which I think is fair). It’s perfect for casual editors but quite honestly I’ve had premium editing phone software when I made yt prank calls and it offers pretty much the same but for free. You can get decent resolutions on the free version and many of the needed features. If I was to get a premium again, it would most definitely be for this app. Unless of course they become greedy then I’d find another elsewhere. But so far, I have time for this developer, so much so I wrote this review. Thanks x

Current update is terrible!

I have been extremely happy with this app, and only been using the free version until recently. I had been working on an edit for a few days now, and finally added the last music track to it, so was just about to add the final credits and my battery died on my phone. Once my phone was back on I reopened the app, it was saying some videos had been deleted from my phone, which they hadn’t. I added the missing videos to a separate edit on InShot, still no luck, so I tried adding them to the original edit, some would some wouldn’t. I stopped for lunch, and when I went back onto InShot my edit was gone completely. After emailing InShot twice I’ve had no response and have been left to start again, and hope it works this time.

Rotation

This app is really good for editing videos and making TikTok’s, but the effects are not that good, there is no flash, no like Combo packs, plus I think it will be better for there to be a rotate button for pip, it will make it a lot easier to use for tweening, animating and rotating the pip or video. It will make it a lot easier. So please do add the rotation feature to InShot, not pro. Like when you select the pip on the features bar, there should be a rotation feature. Can you also make it so that you can change the size like to make it wide but thin but skinny but thick. Thanks for reading.

Most frustrating app I’ve ever used

So after hearing good things, I download this app to make a birthday compilation video for my daughter. I spent hours on it, and had it saved in my drafts as I thought I may want to add in a few more before the big day. To then get the “some of the videos couldn’t be found error”. None of the videos have been deleted or moved… yet a good 50% were now gone from my draft. Each time I went in and tried to replace them errored video, it would let me do two or three before it would stop loading them. So I had to close the app and go back in each time. Each time I did this it would have removed more videos. After spending another couple of hours painstakingly trying to replace the corrupted files, the whole draft then disappeared altogether. Hours and hours of effort for nothing. Actually could have cried. So yeah… would not recommend.

Amazing app with a couple of issues

This app has been incredible the last few years I have used it. I haven’t seen any other app that has come close to this one however I have had a major problem with it recently. I have gone onto a project that I have been working on and it says that I can’t edit the project as the clips no longer existed. I haven’t deleted anything and all of the clips are still on my camera roll. This means I have to start from step one again. I would love to have an answer to this problem. As this app , like I said before , is one of the best you will find on the App Store.

i like it !

i do like this app a lot. i use it to edit my videos and it works really well. i also love the gifs and stickers features as they are very cute. there are so many fonts to choose / download from inshot itself, and you can upload your own ones to inshot too. now, my problem is the music. i thought it would be copyright free, so i put it in my videos and i added credit in the description. i used silicon estate which worked fine, then i tried using Summer Soul and Rook1e and i got copyright claimed. it’s okay because i’m not monetised, but it is kind of annoying since i assumed that music provided on an editing app would be copyright free. just a reminder to anyone who uses the music inshot has in the app in their videos !

Absolutely excellent app

Absolutely excellent app I don’t think you could get a better app to modify pictures videos or music et cetera et cetera for a phone works perfectly on the new iPhones no glitches no stops no problems no adverts and yes it’s very very very good and I would very much suggest paying for the pro addition on top of the original fee which is low for what you are getting if you are using it a lot I will definitely go for the pro you just get a lot more features and it’s bad it’s a very very good appVery very very very impressed well done guys 10 out of 10 from me five stars keep the good work up and don’t let us down. was good until it wasn’t

it was really good until it wasn’t. i was making a very very important video on inshot and it hit around almost two hours long. when i did voice overs on my video, the audible ads kept popping out of nowhere and ruining my voice recording which was annoying but i didn’t mind too much. but then when i was finished with my video which i had been preparing for very long and put a lot of hard work into, it refused to let me save saying that i needed to clear my cache, despite the fact that i had 30 gigabytes of free space. so i did some digging around and found out that this is actually a common issue with the app where it won’t let people save long videos. i decided to try to screw record my 2 hour long video but the stupid bloody audible audio ad kept ruining my screen recording so i couldn’t. why is that even an ad for a flipping video app anyway? how are people supposed to do voice overs or play back their video. no one wants to listen to your stupid podcast istg. i have no way to contact inshot and no way to get my video to my camera roll. what is this?

Perfect

I’ve been using this app for years, and the new update prompted me to write a review. Thank you for changing the 10s max duration for pictures to infinite! It’s a life saver! Everything about the app is really good… I like that it has its own (actually fire) sample songs you can use as background music, full albums and everything of all different genres….. I think the only downside to the app is that there’s no recently deleted folder, so when you lose your files, you lose them forever. Other than that, this app is great and easy to use, especially for the content I’ve been making with it for the past 3-4ish years.

Okay guys so I’ve been looking for a good photo and video editing app for awhile and a lot of them wanted me to put in loads of money which I was not willing to do but then I found inshot and I tried it out and I didn’t think it was going to be that good that I saw that it was number 10 in the charts for video and photo editing and I downloaded it and I got started and the layout is really really simple for beginners it’s also easy to work out how to use it and it comes with loads of stickers there are a few in at purchases but hardly any but all that I can say it ITS AMAZING! 😁😁😁😁😁

The ability to sign in so you don’t lose your imported stuff

First of all I absolutely LOVE this app, used it for well over 3 years now I think?! And it’s the best free editing app I’ve ever come across, I love how the developers keep adding more effects and tools that paid apps have, but for free!

My one, and only flaw that I just HAVE to point out is; when you undowload the app (when you haven’t used the app in a long time) or you delete it, all your imported sounds, music and stickers vanish, which can be frustrating, so the ability for users to sign in with their email would be an amazing idea and improvement! (A good example of an app that does this is ‘canva’) so they can keep all their imported data safe

This would be perfect for me personally because I could be editing loads in a month (because I enjoy it lol) then for no reason just stop for a few weeks because I’ve got other things to or I don’t feel like doing it, then it undownloads itself, so when I get back into the editing swing I realise all my imported fonts, sounds,songs and stickers have all vanished which I was planning on using.

Other than that tiny flaw/issue I think this is the best free editing app EVER, I’d recommend it to anyone who edits or doesn't want to pay for a overpriced monthly subscription for an editing app they’re not going to use all the time, keep it up developers! :) ❤️

Best video editor for mobile

I have been using this app now for nearly 4 years and it’s near perfect. It’s a great alternative for a pc video editor and while you can have it for free, you’ll have a watermark. My recommendation is to pay to remove for the watermark as its a one time purchase and is cheap. There are other things to buy like filters and specific stickers but they’re only optional and they aren’t something you need really. My only critique really is that I really wish there was a way to make green screens and such. If it would be implemented some time in the future this app would be a perfect 5 stars in my book (so long as this feature would be free). In the rare case that the developers see this, I would like to say that for the most part I am very happy with your product and I hope you further improve the app in the future!

While this review has now turned into rambling, I would like to ask one more thing, could this app one day be released on pc? If this was ever done, could you possibly make it so in app purchases can be transferred to the pc version? Thank you for reading!

Improvements

InShot is a very good editing app. It includes a lot of things an editor would need, like myself. But... there are a few things that I think need to be improved: a lot of apps have a green screen/over lay choice, if this was added to InShot, it would be my all time favourite editing app. More transitions and font choices would really make a difference. And the choice to make the duration of your picture as long as we wish.

GIF/sticker pop up

There is an issue in InShot where when I want to put on a GIF it comes up with a pack full of stickers that I can get for free, if watching an ad. I don’t like to waste my time on these so I tap the exit. But it doesn’t exit me, it goes off and keeps on bringing it up straight away after. I am having to reset the app and just not use the sticker I really need.

Adverts Issue

At the end of every edit is an ad. Always the same ad. I wish InShot could ad Advertisements about other editing apps that I can use whilst using InShot.

Please don’t think InShot isn’t a good editing app! It really is, these are just suggestions and improvements (my only ones). Thankyou for reading this long review! :)

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This is a great app for editing videos and making edits! I’ve had a bad time with a lot of other editing apps like Funimate or iMovie. This one is super easy to make cool transitions and you don’t have to pay for music! When I was using funimate it was extremely hard to know how to use it so i was a little bit skeptical about this one but I shouldn’t have been! Because this app is amazing so easy to use and not hard to navigate at All! All of y’all who are using imovie don’t because this is a much better app so use so easy and quick to make edits which I have personally been working on the past couple days! ITS AMAZING TGIS APP DOWNLOAD NOW!

Best free video app

This app is probably the best free video editing app I’ve used, it allows you to use your own videos audios as the background music track which is sooooo helpful since attaching the music you want on videos is so hard! So many little bits that are well thought out to make it easier for you like when your trimming a large video file and then it has a zoom section option which basically takes away the bits you’ve cropped and allows you to be more precise when trimming it to where you want -whoever came up with that, you’re the real OG. You can choose what frame you want, I remove them and use the original view. Yeah it’s a super good app.

One suggestion I would make, maybe like a trash can instead of full on delete😬 I had similar drafts then my most recent at the top was the one I wanted to keep. I tried to delete the others and the way the videos realigned after I deleted one meant i some how I ended up deleting the best one which took me agesss. Which sucked but not the apps fault really just a suggestion to make it idiot proof.

I’m sorry but this app is exceptional . Excellent. UNBELIEVABLE.

InShot is not used as much as other editing apps like vllo or something, but it’s definitely the best! I wish more people would use it! Honestly, I used to edit my YT videos on VLLO, and I mean it was fine, I guess. When I found InShot, my life was made a whole lot easier. It is so detailed in every way, you can change the speed of things, add sound effects, tracks, or audio. You can even edit the crop to make the video the same size as it is for social media, like insta, YT and TikTok. Nothing bad to say about this app. Other than maybe it lags a tiny bit for me but that might just be my iPad. Thanks a lot InShot!

It’s Noice

...but the only thing is that when you add lots of frames, 0.5 seconds or less, it starts to glitch a lot and it saves out of time. I understand that this is not ideally meant to be an animating app but I would really find it helpful if when you save it to photos, it wouldn’t glitch because when it does I have to go back onto InShot and adjust all of the individual frames and it’s a pain •w•’ I still recommend this app to anyone who wants to make their own videos though, since you can do loads with the app and it’s a shame that this one bug makes the experience more annoying. Won’t save my video.

I’ve been using this app to edit for a while now, and most of the time it’s been great. I’ve been using it to edit my vlogs, Like recently I just edited a video 31 minutes long. But it won’t save to camera roll without saying “free storage” I have flipping 5GB storage to save a 31 minute vlog it’s not hard. And now it’s stuck in my drafts and that the only way I can watch it. I’ve bloody deleted every app on my phone, but it still will not save. I’m so annoyed. Do NOT download this app, I’ve had trouble saving videos for ages now.

Stupid app. Can’t save my videos to camera roll. Absolutely stupid. Don’t take up so much bloody storage next time

Far beyond impressed.

It runs well. It doesn’t crash. If something can happen to any projects, it warns you about what will and how it would happen. Unlike iMovie, this app allows you to customise your canvas in scale factor switches, it allows several audio files to be placed in quick succession without muting one, it allows more than 3 layers of any type of audio, it allows you to separate the audio files through soundtrack or sound effect, adding easy access, it allows you to do so much with things in your camera roll without requiring payment. For a free app, it does everything better than most paid apps. There are always going to be adverts, and many people needlessly complain about those - however - they are all extremely short, and only appear after saving a project. There is so much more I could say, and I haven’t even made a two minute advanced video yet, but the quality of my clips has drastically improved. You. Need. This.

Great but...

This app is amazing it does so much for free although when I tried to use it today it began to freeze the picture and sound I could use the scrub bar but I couldn’t continue to edit my video because of this. I tried freeing up storage on my phone but it still didn’t work. It’s a big problem and I hope it gets fixed soon. And I’ve emailed the developers and they said that they would try to look at it but I haven’t gotten any sort of reply back since then so I don’t know if they can fix it or not. I really hope they can because this project was really important and I need it to be done soon and I really don’t want to start again.

i love this app!

this app is great to edit with! super simple, you can add in your win music, add stickers and text and use distortions. there’s only one thing bad about this app which is it lags when you’re in the middle of editing. now what’s bad about this is i can’t tell if my text is placed in the right place because it lags when i start it from the beginning. id also love to use some things but most are for inshot pro which bugs me as i don’t want to spend so much money on an app just to use a few filters and distortions.

other than that, the app is great! easy and simple.

i have a few suggestions that’ll bring more attraction to your editing software:

a green screen option and the ability to put a video on the screen as well as just a picture,

more distortion filters that don’t go for inshot pro because many people can’t buy it..

and that’s all! that’ll make me love your app even more if these are fixed or added. also, please leave this app available for all IOS updates as my ipad is left behind on one software update as it’s old, it’s a nightmare trying to download apps as they’re only available for some iOS users.

All I can say is wow wow and... WOW

I’ve seen my teachers use this, my friends but at first I never thought about using it myself and I regret that so much. I was casually scrolling through the App Store looking for video apps and I noticed this one had over 100k reviews and for a right reason. On this app you can make collages videos and edit photos, one of the pros is that you can extract audios from videos of yours, you can screen record your favourite song and cut it down in the audio. This app does include paid features, but I haven’t paid and the results are amazing otherwise. I can’t imagine the possibilities with InShot pro!!!🤩

So I’ve had this app for quite a while and I’ve bought the full version which is definitely I think I good price for all the effects and stuff it’s really good for editing and I love all the different transitions. One thing though is when you are editing text. When you are trying to change the animation it only gives you the option to do either an in or out animation or a moving animation. It would be good if you could do both of them at the same time so that it doesn’t look weird when you put a moving animation. Another thing I think you should add is panning if it’s not already there because I can only seem to zoom in but panning would be very helpful as well. Also maybe some more text animations. I love this app so much and it’s really helpful❤️❤️❤️

Simple editing, easy to use

This is the app I’ve been looking for, for a long time. I was struggling with imovie and splice and other apps. But this one is really easy to use. It’s easy to add videos from your library, cut bits out, change the canvas size, all things that were complicated in other apps especially using an iPhone. I think it’s going to transform the way I can create videos and I’m looking forward to trying out all the features. For uncomplicated editing and helping you with great content, I think this is the app to use. Well done developers.

I love this app! It’s so simple but it’s got some fabulous ways to creat a clip, story, film or edit! You have to pay for some effects and transitions but I think that you can create a fabulous video with all the things you do have. Definitely worth installing if your a beginner that wants lots of experience creating videos or a more experienced person who is up for paying the £12 a year for the full package to create more professional and profitable videos

If I could add to the app I would love it if there was a feature where you could add photos and videos onto your egsisting clip at the same time. Say if you were doing an unboxing or gaming video to be uploaded to a social media platform, you might want your face in the corner so your audience can see your product/screen at the same time as watching your reaction. I would also love more “Video Star” style transitions, like more complicated and fun ones. I would also love more “edit style” effects, like filter flashes and swaying of the edit. Thanks x

Good but...

It is amazing however I was most displeased when the app was unable to send my newly edited video to someone. Apart from the inconvenience sharing my creation I absolutely loved all of the features such as , the animated stickers and the ability to give my video a voiceover. Also the music given on the app was very varied meaning I could select many different genres. On the other hand you do have to buy a large quantity of the stickers. On this app you can also format your video in the style of : instagram, Tik Tok and normal,I found this feature to be very useful because it will give your video a unique twist. Another thing I would pick up on would be that it takes over ten minutes to save and when the large wait is over it doesn’t save (it might but it is unclear to where it is saved to) . All in all I would recommend this app but if you want a less childish editing app i would give it a miss.

I must admit, I’m really impressed! Most editing apps will charge you money, and for every single good filter you need the pro account. It’s really frustrating. But with InShot it’s amazing! There are so many cool filters and you can even use stickers! I have even used InShot for a school PowerPoint. I hope that they won’t change anything in the filters or other awesome editing stuff! Although I wish that they would add a bit, so that you can change the lighting. Other than that everything’s perfect!!! And guess what I have only started using the app 1 week ago!!!

Good but have a request

So I love this app it’s perfect for pretty much all edition except fan edits. I use the app for making edits.. and I feel like the transitions are a bit ‘still’ I don’t know how to put it. I would love if you included wayyyyyy more transitions with more movement.. and effect after the transition. That probably doesn’t make sense, but if you look at some of video stars transitions, they have movement to them. I love inshot so much because it’s an easy format, with apps like video star it can get a bit confusing. I hope you could vary the transitions but otherwise this is the best app for editing ever! InShot is the best it helps me with my videos that I want to make it helps me put my pictures into a slideshow and it helps me do aesthetics but there are some problems there could be a lot more choices of songs because some of my iTunes were copyrighted and they wouldn’t let me so I think they could of added aesthetic music to help me and it is slow with the music when you want to listen to it and see what it sounds like but apart from that I think it is the best app in this whole entire world thank you for providing this app on the App Store I really appreciate it because I love this app and think it should become the number 1 on the App Store and just should be on the front cover this is the best app I have ever had thank you

Great but one major problem..

This is a fun app with some creative il features, both free and in-app purchase. I purchased some extra effects and filters. I love the app but the adverts at the top of the screen mean, if you want to go back and select a different video to edit, you can’t! The adverts block the ‘back’ feature, and no matter how much you try to avoid touching the ad, you can’t so you keep being taken to secondary sites. This is a major downside as every time you log back in to try and refresh the app, the video you don’t want to edit is there and the ads at the top real main blocking your ‘back’ option.

Fantastic app otherwise, but it’s put me off using it.

DEFINITELY DOWNLOAD

I tried this out for my editing career, and I have to say, this is such a great app! There are little/almost none ads, it’s free and you get LOADS. I recommend to anyone. Such a great app.

Firstly, the effects you can use (text, stickers, sounds, music, GIF’s, and loads more) are all free and they are all good.

Secondly, the fact you can publish and save the final video with a tiny (teeny tiny) watermark at the bottom of the screen, I thought it would be bigger. But in the VERY cheap Pro version, don’t worry a bit! That gives you more effects and removes the few ads, and removes the watermark.

This is such a great app and I’m so happy I found this.
