Jamie Parks and Simon Blake were childhood friends. They grew up together and were inseparable from the time they were in diapers until it was time to leave for college. Simon moved to the city, hoping to realize his dream of being a successful doctor, while Jamie stayed in their little no-name town, going to community college and taking care of her sick mother.
