A friend recommended this book to me and from the first page, I knew it was going to be brilliant. I finished it in a couple of days, I just couldn’t put it down! The plot was fantastic, it had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. A fantastic book with a wonderful ending.

Loved this book, bit disappointed by the end. But over all was a really good read.

As a thirteen year old , I find it hard to relate to books and find ones that interest me. This book caught my eye , I read the reviews and description , I was so intrigued to read it ! I am very glad I did in the end ! One of the best books I have ever read , I highly recommend it to you !

Sheer brilliance

The only disappointment with this book is that it wasn't longer. It's had me totally gripped, I've never felt so strongly for characters in a book ever and I read about 2 books a week. Frantically searching now for more books by the same author. 10\10!!!! Highly recommended

Bit too dark for me. I had to read the end to find out what happened, but couldn't read the bit in the middle...where did she get such an evil character from???

I don't usually write reviews, nor do I ever feel so compelled to leave one. I read this book in under twenty-four hours. There is a beauty that needs to be acknowledged with this novel. One of very few books that has a good ending that leaves you satisfied with what you read. I promise you...this book will never get out of your head. The words that are written, and the emotions you are forced to feel whilst reading sticks with you. Stop wasting your time and please read.

Brilliant book couldn't put it down

Gripping

I don’t usually read books like this, however, this was so gripping and I just could not put it down! Unlike other books, this ending was not predictable and was definitely surprising! I was gripped the whole way through and was basically hooked on this book!

This is definitely a story that you will not forget. After this book, the imapct it had on me was so big that I simply could not read anything else for around 3 days! Definitely worth the read!

If you want a book to hook you, this is the one for you!

I throughly enjoyed this book... a gripping plot that keeps you hooked until the very end.

This book was amazing, however there were parts that I had to skip as I found it slightly traumatising, but that just shows how much of a good writer the author is.

I could not put it down, the plot is absolutely bewitching. Must read for anyone who likes thrillers and plots that keep you on your toes.

A good read, it's not a long book so it doesn't drag out as some books do. Worth a read had me gripped

The start was intriguing and drew me in but, having downloaded the rest of the book it became an increasingly unpleasant and unsatisfying read. No doubt good triumphed over evil in the end but I gave up half way through, not having the motivation to read any more of the unrelenting misery. A waste of money.

I couldn't stop reading this book but for all the wrong reasons. I found it deeply disturbing but not in the thrilling way you normally associate with this kind of genre. Honestly I thought it was a truly twisted story line and I had to keep reading because I know the story my mind would have continued making up would have been much worse. I wouldn't recommend it if you value peace of mind. The only reason I've given two stars is because the author does have a good writing style, but honestly I probably will never pick up another book of theirs.

Well what can I say.. I've read 5 books since this one and my mind still keeps going back to this book! Amazing, this book really gripped me and the ordeal she was dealt.. just horrifying.. You got to read it to see what a twisted mind Jack has..

Found it hard to get into reading the past few months but I could not put this book down.. well worth it!

You know when you try and find a book to read before bed, just something to send you off to sleep..well this isn't it.

Got me gripped at first but was hugely disappointed with the end... Felt as though it was a huge built up to being left wanting to know what actually happened. Seems unfinished.

It's a horrible book to read but is exceptionally written. I finished it in one sitting partly to get it over with and partly because it was an excellent book.

Poorly written and a dreadful story about domestic abuse - I genuinely can't understand how this book is so highly rated.

Amazing read! You literally feel like your living there with her. You feel every emotion reading this book. I'm always disappointed when a book ends but for this one I wasn't ready to stop reading at all. Highly recommend!
