Amazing
I don't even know where to start, this is an amazing book and I can't wait to start the second book. I have no idea where Aleatha gets her ideas from but all of her books are amazing. Alex aka Charli and Nox have 1 week no strings and no disclosing who they are. Alex's family is unreal and I'd love to punch her mum and step dad. On to book 2!

This is a well written book great storyline.

Simply Brilliant
Betrayal is the first book in the Infidelity Series and I was given an arc for my honest review, it ends with a cliffhanger.
I'm a big Consequence series fan so I'm familiar with Aleatha Romig work. As always it is full of plot twists and you're kept guessing until the last page.
Betrayal is told in past and present time. Starting off six weeks earlier Alexandria(Alex) Collins taking a weeks holiday with her best friend Chelsea at an exclusive resort Del Mar. Where she reinvents herself as Charli. This is where she meets Nox and they agree on a week of passionate romance. Nox is confident, cocky, dominant,and a handsome man who knows what he wants and he wants Charli. The rules is they don't really know each other's lives outside Del Mar. You can feel the searing chemistry between them and it's hot.
Meanwhile six weeks later sees Alex dealing with her family life at Montague Manor. Her family are not happy with her choice to attend Columbia Law in New York they want her to move back to Savannah and marry her childhood best friend Bryce with devasting circumstances, if she doesn't do as is asked of her. Alex is a fighter and doesn't take to being blackmailed into a life she doesn't want.
Alex decides to venture to New York anyway with help from cousin, she plans on doing what she set out to do. This is where the cliffhanger comes in and now we are left patiently awaiting book 2 Cunning.
