Description

Nick DeSilva has been trying to get a job with his brother’s record label for years. Assigned to monitor a thrashing rock band at an exclusive tropical resort, he runs into more trouble than he expects when Lise McCabe, his former flame, has taken over the whole island.
Lise can’t believe her bad luck. As a wedding planner, she’s sent plenty of happy brides down the aisle, but a resort scheduling glitch means she’s got to duke it out for space with one of the hated DeSilvas—a family that almost destroyed her own.
It may take a little magic to sweeten the deal, but somehow Nick and Lise must negotiate to satisfy both their business contracts—and their hearts. Will their battle for control take over their budding passion during these FIVE DAYS IN PARADISE?

Romeo and Juliet Reimagined

Lise and Nick were high school sweethearts whose families have been feuding for several generations; misunderstandings and lies tore them apart six years ago but now they are on a tropical island without their families to get in the way. Lise is a wedding planner, organising an expensive, reputation-making wedding whilst Nick is there to give his brother's new thrashing rock band signing some R & R. Neither were amused when they realised they would be in close proximity on an island but it doesn't take long for them to realise that they still have feelings for each other. Light hearted romance with some comedic moments (coatimundi at the wedding reception). Each chapter is told alternately between the two characters POV. Note: this story can be read as a standalone. Recommended read.
