Working in primary care medicine, people ask me every day whether their digital devices are affecting their physical health, their mental health and their relationships. The answer to that is obvious; of course they are! You could no more ask whether cars, agriculture electricity or antibiotics affect our health; they certainly do. Then question, really, is how. And, if some of the effects are negative, what should we do about it?
