If you’re an addict then you’re probably quite messed up mentally. Trying to unpick and comprehend this continually charade of metaphors and long words gets very annoying after a few pages. A few gems of enlightenment would be a basis for a best seller
As a pure addict of absolutely everything myself this sounded great but like every Tim Burton movie was too complex and overdone for a simpleton like me
Your “rants” on j Ross and s Colbert bought me to “have a go” of your book but you are putting yourself and your work so above 99% of the population that whilst interesting for 5 mins becomes painful and uncomfortable when reading words, trying to understand them, the meaning they convey, and finally how they relate to my life and addiction. Owww my head hurts already.
Maybe Sherlock H may find it up his proverbial alley
