Perhaps good for teenagers. Not an adult book.

They got there in the end, they just took the very long way round! Still I’ve loved this little story, written smoothly and easy. Recommended for who’s in a need of a love story.

A totally captivating read to escape from reality. I was captured by the characters very quickly and totally loved the ending. If you love a gentleman be story you will love reading A Day in December.

What a great read! Rom-Comes can be a bit dull sometimes, but not so this one. Loved the story and the writing.

I really can’t recommend this book enough. A total chick flick with a perfect balance of love, loss and humour. An easy, light hearted read that you won’t want to put down. Josie Silver has created a simply beautiful novel, I can’t wait for her next one this year💓

This book never fails to make me cry! For all their faults, you can’t help but to like everyone in the book – it’s a proper love story that breaks your heart at times, I felt like I was right there with the characters.

Worth a read but not necessarily a great romance novel. A bit drawn out at times but nice story line.

I feel like I have a few new friends after reading One day in December.... I was emotionally invested in the story throughout and loved the ending... First book for a while that I've smashed in just a couple of evenings - was hard to put down even when I was clock watching late at night... I'm now sat actually disappointed I've finished it so quickly... Highly recommend...

Bravo on such a harm warming story

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! I have recommended it 5 times over already to friends after having only started and finished it within the past 2 days :-D I kept saying to myself ‘just one more chapter, okay just ONE more chapter’ throughout both evenings until my eyes couldn’t stay open any longer. I love the style of writing and the plot is both believable at the same time as providing complete escapism. I fell in love with all the characters and laughed/cried repeatedly throughout (emotional wrecks beware!). Can’t wait to read the next book by this author and am now following Josie on twitter to make sure I don’t miss out on any future releases. If you can’t tell...I recommend this book beyond measure :-)

An enjoyable and easy read

Truly wonderful book of love and longing.

I am in holiday and ran out of reading material. Realised I had iBooks so on I went and after a few sample reads I downloaded this fabulous, funny, heartwarming and oh so delightful read. Nothing better than a book you can’t put down. I went to bed early and got up early to read it. Not going to spoil anything so not reviewing the actual story here. Just buy it and enjoy!
