2nd book of the authors which I’ve read within 4 days with the 1st one as well! I suppose i should explain I’ve been bed bound after an operation and I’m not just bloody bone idle! Really enjoyed both books I completely lost myself in the characters lives I think I now know them and could recognise them in the street! Along with the tense storyline I just couldn’t stop until done. I love the style of Cara’s writing and I’m a new fan totally! Thanks so much! I’m almost slightly sad at getting better but more so about the wait for the next book which sounds equally as captivating.

I found the plot to be a bit far-fetched with an extraordinary amount of twists and turns towards the end.

Terrifying, gritty and so gripping!
After a long time, a genuinely gritty and “unputdownable” book with real twists that will shock you at every turn - not the usual cheap tricks crime authors use these days. Was hooked from start to finish.

Worth a read
Not as good as the first one. I felt the constant going round in circles very tiresome! Worth a read though and I look forward to the final book in the series.
