I read this in a night. Started it just after my little went to bed and now it’s just after 5am and I’m balling my eyes out having just finished it, well balling my eyes out for the last hour or so it makes it very difficult to read when you can’t see through the tears! I was hooked from the first chapter, very easy to follow and flows so naturally I just could not put it down, I found myself laughing, crying, shouting and willing them to just do it!
But my god I love perfectly imperfect it’s just sums up life ...perfectly.

The Day We Met is a very real and raw, modern love story. It's a poignant reminder to live for the now, and how our actions can often be judged to be right or wrong, when in fact, life is much more complex than that. The novel is well written and told from two perspectives over the course of twelve years and is well-paced and engaging covering the highs and lows of married life with plenty of happiness and heartbreak.
