I have enjoyed all the Whiskey books to date, and this is by far the hottest! Dixie has featured in all the Whiskey books, and popped up in a couple of others, so I have been eagerly waiting for her happy ever after. I was not disappointed!

Dixie and Jace have been trying to ignore their feelings for each other for years, but slowly the frustration has been building, and it all comes to a head in a show of emotions in front of everyone at the bar when Dixie attempts to get from under the ever present watchful eyes of her brothers.

This is definitely a book you cannot put down once you start, so clear a few hours, grab a cup of tea and settle yourself down for one heck of a love story!

This was so worth the wait that I needs reading again so I haven't missed a thing. Jace and Dixie are both very strong characters as we know from previous books they have appeared in. Dixie has had feelings for Jace since she was 18, he has tried not to have feelings for her. These feelings explode when she agrees to do his calendar in New York. This is a great story of love and knowing what is important to make a relationship work. Love catching up with previous characters and what is happening in their lives. Thank you Melissa

Even though they captured each other’s hearts years ago Jace Stone and Dixie Whiskey have never acted on their attraction. He’s not one to settle down and has tried to keep her in his untouchable zone all this time. Now he needs her help with his business. They’re about to find out that having only a professional relationship is impossible. To Jace, Dixie is sexy and addicting, whilst she is getting a chance to follow her heart, but will it be enough to convince Jace that this is one addiction that is worth keeping? I love getting drawn back into the lives of the Whiskey family. Not only is this a captivating, emotional, funny and sexy read, this is one fight for love that tugs at your heart.

WOW….. I don’t know where to start on this review. This book has me from being all hit and bothered to then crying!!! I loved this story from the get go and so glad that Dixie found a man who could handle all of her and her family.

Dixie Whiskey…. 3 very over protective brother makes it very hard for a girl to break free and have some fun. Any potential boyfriends get scared away from the growling they receive. Dixie has had enough and has decided to break free from her big brothers and show them she can look after herself, she just never expected the very sexy elusive Jace Stone to be involved in this process.

Jace Stone is about to launch a new collection of bikes and clothing but his launch is not going to go how he wants when the model hired has injured herself and won’t be able to make it. Jace knows there is only one suitable replacement , the women who was his muse all along….. Dixie Whiskey. But can he persuade her to do this and if she does can he keep his hands off her.

This story is fantastic and I just couldn’t put it down. As much as Jace tried to resist Dixie, he knows that years of trying to stay away from her has come to an end and for Dixie this is just the beginning of a fantasy she’s been dreaming of since she was 18. Changes are coming but it’s not going to be a smooth ride.

I fell in love with Dixie when I started reading this series and Jace I met when I read is sister Jayla’s story. I can’t wait to read more about the Stone family.

Since we first met the Whiskey family and watched the brothers – Bear Bullet and Bones find their happy ever after I have dying for Dixie to get her love story. And what a story Melissa has given her. Dixie is a fierce, confident woman who can stand up for herself, but she also has a softer side, and at times vulnerable side and I loved how we got to see that side of her in this story.

I wasn’t sure who Melissa had in store for Dixie, I knew it had to be someone man enough to take her on as well as prove to her brothers he was the real deal. Enter Jace Stone, rugged, tough and definitely man enough for Dixie. Also he has been someone that she has lusted after since she was 18 but him being older by almost 10 years nothing came of it, until now. We learn that Jace himself has admired her from afar, but the age gap was a barrier for him that long ago (plus the Whiskey Brothers would have went mental)

Jace designs motorbikes, and has a new line coming out along with a clothing line for woman and after being let down by a model he turns his sights on Dixie, who if he had realised had modelled in the past would have made her his first choice. Dixie puts him off for a long as she can but eventually decided to do it, following her brother ganging up on her at the charity auction.

From here we really Jace and Dixie come together in more ways than one, their story is hot and their chemistry is on fire. But Jace is not perfect and his back an forth approach to his feeling gave me whiplash and left Dixie feeling broken-hearted, and my heart broke right along with her, but he fixes the wrongs and shows that no one is perfect but they can be perfect together.

I am so happy Dixie got her story and how awesome it turned out, and I am excited to read the rest of the upcoming Dark Knight stories that will still have our favourite Whiskey family in them.

Taming my Whiskey thoroughly broke my heart. An emotional and gripping second chance/unrequited romance that will make you swoon at the same time.

Dixie Whiskey is a badass heroine and she deserves every type of love in the world. I’ve loved her since the very first book. She’s feisty, determined and strong-willed. This book was perfect in capturing her ‘moment’ and perfectly embraced her ‘time to shine’. She is a beautiful MC and is a truly admirable character throughout the series.

Jace Stone is quite a complex character. He is in no means perfect and he’s made many mistakes, but his growth throughout the series was so pleasant to read about. He loves Dixie so much, but he just didn’t know how to deal with the unfamiliar emotions. He is a fantastic hero, and he made ma swoon so much, my cheeks were hurting from smiling too much.

As well as their individual growths, I loved how their relationship progressed. They finally took the big leap, they finally got their happy ending and what an ending it was👏 So excited to read Quincy and Roni’s book!!
