'Absolutely delightful. Sweet, romantic, kind. Beautifully paced. I loved this book.' RAINBOW ROWELL, author of Carry On
Charlie didn't think Nick could ever like him back, but now they're officially boyfriends. Charlie's beginning to feel ready to say those three little words: I love you.
Nick's been feeling the same, but he's got a lot on his mind - not least coming out to his dad, and the fact that Charlie might have an eating disorder.
As summer turns to autumn and a new school year begins, Charlie and Nick are about to learn a lot about what love means.
By Alice Oseman, winner of the YA Book Prize, Heartstopper is about love, friendship, loyalty and mental illness. It encompasses all the small moments of Nick and Charlie's lives that together make up something larger, which speaks to all of us.
Contains discussions about mental health, eating disorders, and references to self-harm.
'The queer graphic novel we wished we had at high school.' Gay Times
*Shortlisted for Book of the Year in the British Book Awards*
Heartstopper was Children's #1 bestseller in the TCM chart on 23 April 2022.

I can’t say enough good things about this book. As someone who’s gone through his own mental health struggles in recent years, as well as being diagnosed with Autism, seeing Charlie’s mental health struggles had me sobbing. As with all the previous Heartstopper books, it’s dealt with sensitively and realistically. There’s even a list of related resources for readers at the end. If Alice Oseman hasn’t been awarded already, she definitely should be after this. If nothing else, I’m very grateful to her for shining a light on how it’s not just girls who suffer eating disorders and mental health struggles.
