Emotional

The story had me gripped from the very first page due to its vivid descriptions of a place e I have not ever visited before but felt like I had been there. I felt a strong emotional bond with her main character Carp as he traversed the borders of life between two very different worlds. I was deeply moved by the harrowing struggles of survival amid a sometimes chaotic landscape. I thoroughly recommend this book.

Out of my comfort zone but good

I don’t usually read stories, I find them a bit tedious but I was pleased with this one. Tonnes of imagery used and very descriptive in a way that’s not repetitive or redundant. Never read a story like this one
