Description

My boss Bryan Chang, the CFO of O'Connell, Thompson, and Taylor Enterprises, is hot as hell. Too bad he's also a life-wrecking demon. I've put in too many 60-hour weeks, so when he says I have to come into the office on Saturday, I write him a scathing email telling him exactly what I think of him. I intend to save it as a draft meant for my eyes only, but to my horror, I accidentally hit send. When he reads the email, I expect to get my ass fired. But it turns out that he wants to punish me in a different way...

Enjoyable Read

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Bella Song has been working as Personal Assistant to none other than revered billionaire Bryan Chang for a while now so when he demands she come into work on a Saturday to write up reports aNd telling her to cancel her plans she is livid, but at the end of the day he is the boss. Needing an out for her anger she writes him an insulting email telling him exactly how she feels about working with him, only she sends it directly to him in error. So what will happen when she is summoned to his office, will she be sacked or is the biggest surprise rugby bahind that door?
Bryan Chang has wanted Bella since the day that she walked into his office, she was his end game, but she loathes him after he makes her work her weekends with him but it’s the only way he can keep seeing her for now but when he overhears she’s going on a date on Saturday he knows that now is the right time to strike because failure is not an option when it comes to her, can he show his sassy assistant what they could have and the love they share?
I enjoyed this book but I wasn’t really that enamoured by the Bella, she came over as a cocky person and a gold digger who was only out for what she can get from him and the gifts he’d shower her with. It was better by the end but that aspect of the book I didn’t like nor did it fit in with her character. Enjoyable 3* read.
