Life Changing

I read this book as a care worker in adult social care.
"The Thriving Giver" reminds you to value yourself and teaches you really useful ways of looking after yourself too (oh-so much better than the "care app" that was available briefly last year).
Just as importantly for me, this book also encouraged me to look at my work situation (I was exhausted and felt totally crushed, and *dreaded* going in each shift) and to pluck up the courage to request changes (and to push through the resistance I met). I'm now a month into a new role, and the improvement in my mental health has been enormous: I'm happier, have more energy, look forward to going into work again, and am more motivated to do things in my spare time too – I got my life back – all as a direct result of reading "The Thriving Giver".
Thank you, Sarah Kuipers, your book has literally been life changing for me.
