The book addresses hydraulic system operation and design from an aerospace perspective. The book covers issues of fluids and fluid flow, component operation and system design. Component sizing methods, mathematical relationships and modeling equations are presented for each component. A methodology for system level modeling and simulation is also presented. Numerous example and worked sample problems are included. Automatic calculation tables are included for orifices, tubes, actuators and motors. Version 2 updates various sections, adds a couple of examples, and fixes small errors.
