Another suspenseful novel from this talented author Charmaine Paul’s, a strong heroine Violet whose life seems to have been dominated by men who want to take control, when she meets Leon at her stepfather’s company( 2nd eldest Hart brother) whose domineering abilities and his need to get what he wants, which is Violet as he can see how she needs to be saved but Violet thinks he’s another man to control her. Violet lives with her mother who she feels she is beholden to and her stepfather who owns the largest underground IT company in South Africa, Gus has a son who will do anything to get what he wants and its not her virtue!!

Leon is a highly talented programer and is hoping to become second in command in Gus’s thieving company, with his serious infatuation with Violet this can only be a plus plus for a certain party. When Violet is forced to betray Leon, he has to suppress his feelings, turning cold and ruthless with the need for revenge. Let’s hope he figures out what’s happening, only book two will give us that answer!! The cliffhanger at the end doesn’t help either!!
