Description

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days
Genesis 6:4
When Sister Evangeline finds mysterious correspondence between Mother Innocenta of the Saint Rose Convent and legendary philanthropist Abigail Rockefeller, it confirms Angels walked among us - and their descendants, the cruel Nephilim, still do.
Indeed, the Nephilim are hunting for artefacts concealed by Abigail Rockefeller during the Second World War - objects that will ultimately allow them to enslave mankind - and have so far been prevented from reaching their apocalyptic goal by one, clandestine organisation: The Angelology Society.
And if the Angelologists are to stand any chance of winning this new battle in the ages-old war, they must find the artefacts first. But their fate rests in the hands of innocent Sister Evangeline, who holds the key to unlocking Abigail Rockefeller's hiding places ... and whose own destiny may yet find her prey to the terrifying Nephilim army, with horrifying consequences for humanity.

So much potential!

It had the right ingredients for a truly epic tale, but by the end... It all went flat! Don't get me wrong, it had it's moments! Several of them! But it was like the publishers deadline was coming up fast so the author had to wrap things up quickly! A shame.

Brilliant....

This book is phenomenal, I read the sample within an hour and just had to by the book... It is simply a great book, I'm only half way through the book and the story just gets better and better with all those historical connections it really has opened my eyes to the bible and history! And the idea of the war between the two of them is brilliant, can't wait for the film!!

Truly awful

I read this in hardback version but even so, it really was awful, a bit Dracula and a bit twilight and nothing that really allows it to stand out from the crowd.

Well written

So I had my new iPad and was desperate to try a new book. So I just plumper for this one and I really enjoyed it. It is extremely well written and the authors grasp of the English language is second to none. The story is intriguing although a little slow paced at times. Well worth a download.
