Can't put it down.
I wasn't going to buy the book. But I splashed out and did it and I'm glad I did its a really good read.... Harry potter fans will enjoy it. I'm only a few chapters in and it's got a good magical feel about it.

Clever
I first came across young Artemis in 2002 when this book began his association with the fairie world.
The story is an excellent example of a clever invention with characters and a cracking story line. Indeed the written word is better than the graphic novels. (I see butler the bodyguard of Artemis being bigger).
The story covers Artemis as he explores the fairie world. With a criminal genius mind, he traps a fairie to try to claim the standard pot of gold. Needless to say, the fairie world is more technologically advanced and the book wraps itself inside out with a twisting and turning, rattling good plot.
I cannot recommend this classic enough and you can follow how the adventure continues in the later books. I can't wait for the new one due for release in August 2002.
