So much fun to read, I want to find my Jake and have friends like Bloomie and Kate. Absolutely loved it.

About the author
Gemma Burgess moved to London at the age of 22. She started working as an advertising copywriter, and applied herself more wholeheartedly to having a good time. Eight years later she decided to distil some of her experiences into The Dating Detox: the book for women with confidence, wit and style but absolutely no clue whatsoever how to know the real thing when they see it. (Love, that is.)

Loved this book! Could not put it down! Hilarious modern and very accurate view of the dating world and sarcastic UK humour. Amazing read!

Brilliant!
Really really enjoyed reading this book.. It was so easy to get into and feel involved in Sass' friendship circle! Loved it from beginning to end, laughable, sweet & relatable! Can't wait to see what else Gemma Burgess has in store next! :)

Unexpectedly Hilarious
I honestly try to avoid 'chic-lit' like it was the plague, however I picked this up and it resulted in laughing out loud, seemingly to myself, with virtually every turn of the page... This then resulted in my housemates giving me concerned sideways glances at regular intervals.

This is my second book by this author and about to search for more. It's a great book that really draws you in. Couldn't put it down which is why my phone battery is constantly dying! Lol. Read and enjoy!

Horrible!!!
After reading "a girl like you" I had high expectations & I'm very disappointed. The character tries too hard to be funny buts fails dismally!!! After 300pages I've given up am going to delete this book. I kept rolling my eyes through the 300pages.
My advise don't download this book!
