Description

Presenting the Travel Diaries of Karl Pilkington: Adventurer. Philosopher. Knob head. Karl Pilkington isn’t keen on travelling. Given the choice, he’ll go on holiday to Devon or Wales or, at a push, eat English food on a package holiday in Majorca. Which isn’t exactly Michael Palin, is it? So what happened when he was convinced by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant to go on an epic adventure to see the Seven Wonders of the World? Travel broadens the mind, right?  You’d think so...

Great

Who cares about the price, it's only 7 quid.
Big fan of Karl Ricky and Steve. The books great (and only just started it). Does occasionally feel that whoever edited it has edited some of Karl's personality out of the book at times. But nevertheless still hilarious stuff.

Briliant

This book is amazing don't read much to be honest and usually take meta while to read a book I got so into this it only took me two days because I couldn't put it down was so funny and has a lot of awesome pictures from places he's gone. Don't know why people are complaining about the price if you go to a shop you cant get it for this price.

I don't wanna go on a camel!

This book is the best book I have read, took it on holiday supreme I never put it down it had me laughing aloud and getting strange looks but it all added to the entertainment, if you love the tv show this book is a must for you, it's all separate stories to accommodate the places he has visited with pictures of his travels, I would recommend this highly, Karl pilkington is an absolute legend!

An idiot abroad

Very good book, it kept me entertained from cover to cover, there are a lot of laugh out loud moments in the book and some stunning photographs too, it deserves a full five stars.

Wicked

It's a good book worth reading but apparently £7 is too much for an iBook but you have probably bought an iPad for £400+

Good book but hugely over priced

Downloaded the sample on here and was lucky enough to purchase the book for £3.50 at the supermarket.
The book itself is worth a read. Occasionally it is laugh out loud funny and is made so much better without having to listen to the hideous cackle of Gervais.
Read the book, buy the book. Just don't pay over the odds on here.

Ebook should be cheaper

For all of you people who are saying this is a reasonable price as this is how its cost's in WHsmiths? These SHOULD be cheaper as to cover shipping printing and prepartion is added onto the price but an e-book you dont need any of that as its electronic so ACTUALLY it should at least a couple of pounds cheaper

Great Read

Definitely watch the show before you read the book. It's a great companion piece and a very easy, funny and entertaining read.

First iBook

This is my first iBook I have purchased and completed reading and must say I am very pleased with the overall experience as well as the book. The book is brilliant and adds to the original t.v. Series because there is more in the book then the t.v. Show. People are complaining about the price but that is like buying a Ferrari and complaining about the price of petrol. You have more then likely brought an iPad costing around £350+ so why are you complaining at £7 for a book.

How much would I like this book? How much would I like this? How much would I like, how much would I. How much would......HOW MUCH!

Expensive but HILARIOUS

Sure, it's pricey- but, having watched this on Sky 1 I had to get the book! Karl is a genius (and I'm not a fat middle aged closed-minded Englander) and this is amazing. :D

Idiots

I don't think Karl is an idiot I genuinely believe he is a genius, his thoughts and feelings toward life are always profound and hilarious.
The only bloody idiots are the people writing reviews here. For one it's cheaper here than on the high street (rrp) and secondly it costs twice as much to digitise a book from paper format than it does to print it.
The very fact that it can be condensed into an iPhone to me is incredible. To the idiots complaining about money; go buy it paper format and stop clogging up this books reviews with crappy scores that have no reflection on the content itself.

It's ok

But the spelling and proof reading is terrible. Lots of mistakes. It has some info that wasn't in the TV show, but also misses some stuff that was in the show.

Brilliant show and the book even better

The reason for three stars is price. For a iBook the price is too much compared to buying the actual book. I am off to buy the book. It would have been great if the iBook came free when you purchase the hard copy.
The book is as brilliant as the show. worth the money (hard copy). If you happy to spend for the iBook get it now , you won't be disappointed.
