So much promise but...

I really wanted this book to be amazing, particularly when i read the blurb, but upon reading it i was disappointed. I did finish the book and loved the characters but the story felt rushed at times, missing key explanation or expansion with way too much happening in way of opposite reactions meaning other things to other characters. I am not sure i will read another as overall it felt like a book published a little to early.

Brilliant, exciting fast paced, I didn't know what to expect from this book but I was soon hooked. At times implausible. I wanted to believe that this was possible, an exciting read.

The Fey

This book is probably one of the worst books it has been misfortune to read. Sadly I felt compelled to finish it to see if it improved, it didn't. 'The Fey' is made out to be some sort of superhero, of this were a film it would be laughed at and audiences would vacate the cinemas in droves. I believe in life that you get what you pay, this book is free but is still overpriced!
Avoid this rubbish if at all possible.
This of course is just my opinion. I have rated it one star as it was not possible to rate it any less.

Unbelievable Heroine

I didn't think this was as fantastic as everybody else because I found the heroine too fantastic to be true. However, that was the only thing that was disappointing because on the whole it was reasonably well written with a good plot and fast paced.

Did enjoy it...however

I did enjoy this book it was different and had an interesting storyline. Couple of issues being, to many differing confusing characters, bad spelling and on occasion poor grammar. Also Alex was no normal person she was bionic. Just a little hard to believe sometimes.

Good page-turner

The Fey is a good twist on a standard theme. The book keeps you gripped and wanting to find out what happens next. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an easy-reading action story to read on the beach this summer!
One minor gripe is that there are a significant number of spelling & grammatical mistakes - if I notice them on my first read through, then I'd have expected a proof-reader to pick them up before release.
