Description

On 9th August 2001, twenty-two days after Jeffrey Archer was sentenced to four years in prison for perjury, he was transferred from HMP Belmarsh, a double-A Category high-security prison in south London, to HMP Wayland, a Category C establishment in Norfolk. He served sixty-seven days in Wayland and during that time, as this account testifies, encountered not only the daily degradations of a dangerously over-stretched prison service, but the spirit and courage of his fellow inmates . . .
Prison Diary Volume II: Purgatory is an extraordinary work of non-fiction, where Jeffrey Archer reveals what life is like inside the walls of Britain's prisons.

Fantastic book

Having listened to V1 I would have loved V2 & V3 to be available in audio too. Can't wait to start V3

Plate Section

Good book, but where is the 'plate' section with all the photos?? It's not right that you don't get this!!!

Good book but let down due to being littered with spelling and punctuation errors.

I enjoyed this book as much as the first one but was very surprised at the poor presentation. Will not stop me buying the third instalment though.

A Prison Diary 2

Loved it. Just one problem and it's probably down to my own lack of iBooks knowledge, but this book constantly refers to "see plate section"
I assume this is where the majority of images are stored, but I have absolutely no idea how to access this section!
If this section exits it is not defined (as far as my several searches conclude) anywhere in this iBook!
