I have literally no words, but this series is definitely worth a read.

This book put me on an emotional rollercoaster! But I enjoyed EVERY second of it. It was a sad, but almost expected ending. I couldn’t put the book down for even five minutes before I had to read again. A must read for everyone

One of my most favourite books I was 11 when I read this and years later I still love this! I cry each time I read the ending and even tho I was so disappointed Callum had to die. He and sephy should have been together forever with callie rose. I love the characters and all the other books and malorie Blackman is one of the best authors along with jk Rowling and Stephen king.

I absolutely love this book and I read it last year and in reading it in school right now, it's amazing and I recommend it to everyone. I like it because it's not too detailed!

heartbreaking, moving, powerful...

I could not but this book down and I still cry whenever I think about it. Completely felt every emotion in the book and I was struggling to read the last two chapter because my eyes were filled with tears. My favourite line from Callum is 'I'm a nought who dared to fall in love with a cross'... he didn't deserve to die not at all he was my favourite character and I fell in love with him literally!

I first read this book when I was in year 8 and in new surroundings and was generally very miserable. This book was like my comforter during that time almost 10 years later and I still love it, it is beautiful written, addictive and needs to be made into a film, definitely recommend.

I wouldn't recommend it for anyone under 12 as it does contain scenes which may be inappropriate, but for anyone else, it's a brilliant read. Malorie Blackman is excellent at capturing every thought and feeling of the characters, and the plot will have you in suspense for the whole book.

When I started reading this book, I didn't know what I was putting myself in. So intense, shocking, exciting, romantic, and unforgettable it makes you wonder 'what if's' for hours later. By the end .. I couldn't stop the tears, i got so stuck into Callum and Stephy's life I started the second book the next day!

I read this book within 5 hours, could not put it down! The ending reduced me to tears, i cried for about half an hour after reading this! I've read a lot of good books in the past but none where I have felt so connected to.

Ok - I woke up at seven in the morning. I got out of bed eleven hours later because I had been reading this book for all that time. Of all things, I certainly did not expect what happened at the end of this book. I actually cried. This book is unputdownable, if that's even a word. One of my favourite books of all time.

I literally couldn't put this down. Brilliantly written and extremely thought provoking. Really questions the nature of social divisions in our society. A must read!!
