Favourite Book Series
I honestly could not recommend this book series more. The characters that CC has produced are both likeable and each have their own secrets. The only fault I can possibly come up with is that the plot seems a little shaky at times, although the general writing makes up for it. Will and Jem are lovably and Tessa is the heroine you can relate to. The thing that makes the whole love triangle better than most is that the two boys also love each other (like brothers). Please, please give the series a go- I would recommend that you perhaps read the Infernal Devices before the Mortal Instruments because then you see all the clever little references to the prequel series in TMI. "We are dust and shadows"

Amazing!!
This book deserves 5 stars from me for one very big reason... I could NOT stop reading!! I could not wait to get the second book and it had me hooked just like the mortal instruments also!! I love Cassy Claire xx

I loved reading this so many twists and thrills just makes me want to know what happens now I love all her other books to great read would recommend

Brilliant!
Great plot. I love the Victorian England setting. The characters were fascinating and it's the first time I have laughed till my stomach ached because of a book. Will is absolutely hilarious. Shadowhunters are a brilliant invention.

I love Cassandra Clare, I have read all the mortal instruments series and the infernal devices series is turning out to be just as good!

Infernal Devices Bk 1
My intro to C Clare. Started out a bit weak but I was totally hooked by the end. Can't wait to read the next one. Loved the characters and the atmospheric historical setting and was drawn in by the weaving plot.

Not a particularly well written story in terms of language or plot but the characterisation and dialogue is very good. I wish this story was a play or script - I would have liked it better.
