Absolutely wonderful

It's taken me around three months to finish this book and, though long, it was definitely worth the read. Each new chapter of the four novels, and each new short story brought a new adventure, which provided a very much appreciated respite from exam revision! Having read a few Holmes stories before, I thought I knew what I was getting into, but something I really didn't expect was the humour. That's right, classical literature can be funny too! This book frequently has me giggling out loud, much to the exasperation of my mother, and actually shrieking on one memorable occasion.
A minor downside to this wonderful edition is that it does not contain any of the original illustrations which furnished the works, and there are a few spelling mistakes which I found a little irritating. Nonetheless, considering the price (nonexistent) this is a very very good purchase, and one that I would happily recommend to anyone. If you're not a fan of long books then fear not, for this book largely consists of many separate unrelated short stories, which took me around half an hour each to read. Also, this iBook doesn't contain "The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes", another collection of short stories - one that I am looking forward to purchasing separately and devouring with pleasure. Happy deducing!

Disgraceful...

I can no longer rely on this copy of the Sherlock Holmes Canon, after I discovered that Chapter 11 of The Sign of Four was actually the first chapter of The Hound of the Baskervilles. What came upon the provider to do such a thing?!

Errors

As well as the transposed chapters in the Sign of Four and Hound of the Baskervilles that others have written about there are also omissions of diagrams that are key to the understanding of the plot. For example the plan that is drawn in The Naval Treaty is completely missing and the extract of the letter in the Reigate Squires is not as in the books. Most significantly the drawings of the dancing men in The Dancing Men are completely missing.

I guess you get what you pay for :(

All was fine until I got to chapter 11 of sign of four. The text of this had been replaced by the first chapter of hound of the Baskervilles. I had to get a different copy of the book to read that chapter. I am now not sure what else may be wrong. I will be reading a different edition.
Be warned.

Sherlock Holmes

Glad I downloaded this even if there are a few odd spelling mistakes and a couple of pages out of order. I would recommend it highly

Is this complete?

How can this be advertised as the complete collection if it does not contain the casebook of Sherlock Holmes?

Misprint in "The Sign of Four"

What I have read so far seems good but one of the chapters in "The Sign of Four" (the second last) has been mistakenly replaced with the first chapter of "The Hounds of Baskerville".
