Although I did enjoy this book, I felt it lacked dimension. However, I think the book is probably aimed at young teenagers, for which the book is probably perfect.
Overall a good read that I enjoyed, kudos John and Carole!

Description

hollow earth
I am not a reader but as this was by my favourite person, I thought I would give it a go. Now I can't wait for any more to come out, I was engrossed in the story it didn't take me long to read it.

Loved it!
A great book for kids between 9 and 109! It's action-packed and keeps your attention unti the very last word. There's more to follow, possibly the first of three, and I'm looking forward to reading the next one, already.

Hollow Earth
I absolutely loved this book, it a great read irrespective of your age. It's action packed and a good mystery, keeps you guessing throughout the story. I could not put this down... I loved the way the authors interweaved fiction with real places and artwork. I was thoroughly entertained and felt more educated about some of the great artwork mentioned. I have sudden urge to vist some of the galleries to see the works of Art. I'm really looking forward to reading this to my niece and nephew as I know they will love the concept too and I also look forward to reading further installments about the Calder twins. I hope the film or Tv series gets made too! Good work Carole & John Barrowman!
