I loved the first book, even read it twice which is something I never do. Couldn't get the to shops fast enough to buy this one but very soon wished I hadn't bothered. I couldn't get into it no matter how much I tried, I gave up half way through and can't even force myself to try again.

Again could not put down like the last one and and look forward to the next

I loved this book and is their going to be more of them I love autumn and fallon more than kasper and violet now lol but I loved it very much

Loved this… after reading the first The Dark Heroine book i wanted to know more about the world they lived… Abigail Gibbs has done this wonderfully and paints a vivid and beautiful world full of magic. Cant wait for the next one!!

Not quite as good as the 1st, but still addictive and a very good read

I looked forward to reading this every night and enjoyed it as much as the first book! Yes, it's not the same as the first but it would be boring if it was ! Looking forward to the next book :) :)

Abigail Gibbs " THe dark heroine" was amazing. I was so excited that I waited almost a year for the second book.Based on the first book the second one was supposed to have a lot of potential but in my honest opinion I was deeply disappointed I felt like she lost the passion of the story to the point that I started to just flipped pages. I did not like the second book. It was a waste of my money. Perhaps I had too much expectation

I loved the first good and was excited to read this one but I'm very disappointed. Honestly finding it very slow and losing interest towards the end of the book.

Love the book getting lost in it

I have to admit, after reading the first book, I had high expectations for this one. But after reading it, I really felt disappointed and really annoyed that I waited so long for this sequel. The story just didn't have the same excitement or realistic/funny moments like the first book. This I felt just dragged on and was dry. The story now just isn't worth continuing. 😒

The story line is so good. Everything is well put together. Everything fits in. So magical and exciting to read. Literally cannot wait for the next book.

P.S. I read this book within 3days! that's how good it was

It took me a while to get in to the book but I really enjoyed the first book so I carried on with this book. Once I got in to the book I really enjoyed it and can't wait for the next book.

Written with the intent to grip you, from beginning to end. Even better than its prequel. I look forward to reading what happens to the heroines next.

Granted you can't beat the first but this is pretty amazing!! Can't wait for more!!!!

The first book was amazing, but THIS is incredible!!. And the fact that he talks of neighbouring town and my own is incredible I live in Torbay and not many stories, especially ones as good as this are even mentioned, thank you so much for an epic story and the amazing continuation of this series , only down side?, I'm gonna have to wait ages for the next!!

This book is as wonderful as the first, and really interesting read that explains itself well, at times the explanations were slightly long winded, but I really liked the story and I would recommend to many.

I would love to know if the author will finish the storyline. Sadly this book finishes as abruptly as the first book. I had to think back a lot to the first book that I luckily re-read just before starting this one.

I feel all this book needed was a touch more sexiness, but the love is explained beautifully.

Really enjoyed the first book The Dark Heroine - dinner with a vampire and thought the follow up would have been just as good😩 Unfortunately I thought there was no story to follow nothing about the characters that you could like and even Violet Lee and Kasper had changed😁 Left wondering why I bought this book really disappointed😴😴😴

Loved the first book have to say! Sad to see violet and kasper's relationship seems to be in bother,I have a funny feeling the vampire slut will come between them! I really wish in this book that autumn rose was slightly older and more into her relationship with the prince. Really looking forward to the next book and would be interesting to see the next dark heroine!!

I completely fell for the first book and was marking off the days on the Calendar till this one was released. A few parts were a little tedious to read through and didn't really answer the questions I developed about Fallon and Autumn but it certainly didn't fail to keep my attention and leave me wanting more! Still totally love these books and sincerely hope the next one is on its way! :D xxxx

I got really hooked into the first book, but I fount it hard to get into this book it took me a few chapter to truly get into it! I did not think it was as good as the first, but it is still very good and I have recommended this book to other as well as the first!

Captivating from the start, just could not put it down! So we'll written, flowing words and enticing characters and story lines! Can not wait for the next book! Brilliant!

I loved the first book but I'm really struggling to get into this, I'm at the point of giving up, quite disappointed, will carry on a little, but so far I'm about to delete from library before chapter 3.

Not as good as the first one, but definitely a good read.
