This is a corker. Lizzie from London is out of a job and suddenly apartment-less. It’s also two weeks before Christmas. Bah humbug! Her best friend Shona’s cheat of a boyfriend has left her with a non refundable plane ticket to Australia that she cannot afford. So what does Lizzie do? Of course she uses her redundancy money to buy the ticket and takes off ( excuse pun) down under. It seems though that her plans of a grinch like existence , not wanting Christmas to happen are not going to be. Sydney beach setting , perfect to forgetting it’s even winter , never mind Christmas …wrong! Festive vibes are alive here. And when Jax, a gorgeous single father and surfer dude keeps bumping into her, is it fate that he asks her to a Christmas lunch date? Holiday fling or real deal. Great writing , beautiful setting and sublime descriptions.
