I’ve yet to find a TC book I haven’t loved and this is no exception. I was skeptical at first but slowly I was hooked and I fell in love not only with the characters but the story.

Nex is our FMC who starts out cautious, scared, and lacking in confidence. She believed the best thing she could be would be to be partnered with her best friend and not to draw attention to herself. Throughout the story Nex develops an intense sense of self worth and power, making new (and better) friends, and finding family in places she never knew existed along the way. I’m so excited for book 2 I truly can’t wait to see what she gets up to.
