Walter Tarello is a veterinary doctor (DVM, MRCVS) with a special interest in chronic infective diseases of animal origin (i.e. zoonosis) and the author of 64 scientific papers published in peer-reviewed medical journals, including Parasite, Zoonosis and Public Health, International Journal of Microbiology, Veterinary Record and Comparative Immunology, Microbiology & Infectious Diseases.

He lives and practices in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
