Description
Damilare Adetutu Jayeola is a passionate storyteller, survivor, wife, and mother of three. Born in Lagos, Nigeria in 1992, her life journey is one of deep pain, betrayal, and healing. In her powerful debut memoir, Broken But Rising, she shares her true story of surviving childhood abuse, emotional trauma, and rejection — and how her faith, family, and inner strength helped her rise.
Now based in South Africa, Damilare is the founder of 2tu Rising Media, a platform dedicated to empowering broken women to find healing and purpose. She is supported wholeheartedly by her husband, Tunde Dawodu, whose love and belief in her were answers to silent prayers.
Through her writing, Damilare hopes to reach others who feel unseen, unheard, or unworthy — reminding them that broken does not mean finished.
