Liz was the sort of stuck-up, entitled girl that I despised. I'd run into her a few times at parties in college, and each encounter left me wanting to gag. So when one of my best friends, Jeff, began dating her, I knew nothing good would come of it.

Boy was I right.

Liz was knocked up less than a year later. Only, as it turns out, Jeff wasn't the father. And when he moved out of the country to get away from Liz's drama,  I somehow became the middle man in a battle between an extremely pregnant ex-girlfriend and a buddy who wanted nothing to do with her.

As if that wasn't enough, I was starting to develop a major attraction for a girl I couldn't stand.

At least I thought I couldn't...
