How deeply do you desire an intimate relationship with the Everlasting Father? He is our Friend, Counselor, Protector, and so much more than we could ever imagine or fully comprehend. He is, and will forever be, everything we need. When fasting flows from a genuine desire to draw closer to Him, it becomes an act of worship and an inward longing to commune with the One who is able to do "exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think" (Ephesians 3:20, NKJV).
