Reading books with children is an important way to help explain adult concepts on a level they can appreciate and understand. When Melissa realized her children had books on everything from birth to death, she went looking for a book about having a parent with Fibromyalgia ... but the cupboards were bare!
Writing this book was a therapeutic process for Melissa and her family. Many thanks to the family and friends who supported her during the creation of this book and to a very special first grade classroom who was it's very first audience.
i thought this was a great little book , being a mom who suffers from Fibromyalgia .its informative for young childrem to understand , these sort of books really should be given out at schools , a so many time my childrens friends have said but your mum doesnt look ill ,
