The Secret Adversary is a work of detective fiction by Agatha Christie and first published in the United Kingdom by The Bodley Head in January 1922 and in the United States by Dodd, Mead and Company later in that same year. The UK edition retailed at seven shillings and sixpence (7/6) and the US edition at $1.75. The book introduces the characters of Tommy and Tuppence who feature in three other Christie books and one collection of short stories written throughout her writing career.
This is an adventure / suspense story with enough action to fill two books. All of the characters are believable and the story flows nicely. There are the usual red-herrings but also enough clues for the reader to play detective. A thoroughly enjoyable read.

The Secret Adversary
Brilliant Agatha Christie. I read it because it came up as free on my nook. Recently I broke my nook so I downloaded it on iBooks. It's a brilliant story, with many plot twists and action filled.

Old fashioned fun!
I love an Agatha Christie and this was no exception. If you can get past the old fashioned terminology it's a classic mystery with good characters. A light hearted enjoyable read for me.
