Read it !
This is a really good book. I have a physical copy of the book which I have read several times over and seam to enjoy every time. There is lots of character development ups and downs and I am happy that this book was the book that got me into reading. I enjoyed Katniss as the main character and the fact that this book featured a strong female role with a unending want to survive. I can’t really tell u much more without spoiling it but the first book in this Trilogy will not disappoint you and I will be forever grateful that this is what got me into books and reading.

I was so gripped. All of the life-or-death situations and the highs and lows of the storyline just get to you and make you feel unexplainable emotions. I love it :D

The hunger games
It was an amazing book , one of the best I have ever read . It is packed full with action :fighting , some intense moments. Me and my many friends in Geek gang give this book and Suzanne Collins a big five star .

Overrated
I was hoping the hype of this series would be well deserved, but it's totally not. I just feel like this book is overhyped. The writing was at best, poor and Katniss had no personality, she was boring and completely unrelatable. I still enjoy the movies though.

My favourite
Omg I loved it so much it was my favourite book I have read so far, I love how it was put together, it is just mind-blowing! I recommend this to everyone but you must read the first to understand this one or watch the film. Although I watched the movie before the books, I fell in love with this one, I had my own vision of the characters, what they do, what they like , how they act. MUST READ NOW FOR ALL AGES. Read first book or movie to understand. 😆😉

Absolutely loved it - the whole trilogy in fact. If you are buying the first book, just go right ahead and buy the whole lot - you will definitely want to read them! The hunger games totally reignited my love of reading and I can only hope to see more great stuff in the future from this author!

Amazing!
I would recommend this book to anyone. A great story, great characters, great book and a great trilogy. Once I had read this book I immediately brought the rest of the books and I am glad I did buy them all. Great book and recommend it strongly to buy the rest of the trilogy.

A compelling, easy read
Having seen the film I decided to read the book in the hope to get a better understanding of higher world that the story is set in.
Whilst there are no major differences in the story there is good background that explains the significance of certain events much more concisely than in the film.
This is a good read, and and easy one at that.
The story is compelling and doesn't dawdle. You'll find yourself through this book and on off the next in no time.

Best Book I Have Ever Read
This Amazing book made pictures of what was happening flow through my head. Its powerful feelings and descriptive writing was impeccably incredible and made me want to read the whole book at once, no wonder I finished it in one night not daring to go to sleep without finishing it.
This book was so worth reading!
I think Suzanne Collins did a very good job writing this brilliant story.

Good Read
A very enjoyable read on the whole. Dealt with many relevant issues as well, which I liked. Would definitely recommend it to friends. If I have a criticism, sometimes the action is slowed down a little bit too much for the sake of extra background. Not a serious problem but does feel a little slow at times early in the novel. Doesn’t stop it from being a great book though, with an engaging plot and an interesting universe.

This book is really good, I find it hard to get interested in a book but this one certainly got my interest. So much better than the film as it gives all the emotion and feelings best book so far just finished reading it so now going to buy the second one !!!

Best trilogy I've ever read. I read all three books within 2 weeks. My friends could verify that I was hooked from day 1. I walked around school with my nose in a book and everyone was very surprised because I am not a bookworm at all and I don't really read much! Every break and lunch I would just read read read and would even try to read under the desk during lessons. Great book for all ages, highly recommend!

I loved the films so much! I have to admit i was a guy who normally says “ill wait for the movie” but so many people recommened me reading the book and its so much more informative!!!!! The movies are brilliant but the books answers all my questions, there is so much IMPORTANT informaton missing from the movies. A great read! :)

OUTSTANDING.
Until quite recently, the best book I had ever read was 'It', by Stephen King. That was until I read 'The Hunger Games. It is an absolutely amazing work of literature, the characters are so well rounded and you find it so easy to empathise with them. The environment and the description therein take some beating. The whole story is just so engaging. I really can't praise this book enough. One word of warning, though, make sure you have the subsequent volumes to hand as you won't want to wait to find out what happens next.

Great read!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Although the story is probably intended for a slightly younger audience I thought it was totally riveting right from the start. It had me hooked and half way through I bought the next two books from the trilogy! Cannot wait to start them!

Loved it!
I loved this book I never thought I would like a book like this, but I really enjoyed it, the story is great and I could never put the book down, I read it within 1 week!! I can't wait to watch the movie although I don't think the movie could beat how well described this book is! I'm looking forward to reading the next 2 books in this series. I would recommend this book to anyone really as it is a great story and also the first book it read in a long time, so this got me back into reading!!
