Bad guys becoming one dimensional
Sensational first few books, but as others have said before me, the storylines are now hugely repetitive with "bad guys" who are one dimensional in their irrationality in bringing down the Barringtons.. It's gotten boring.

Once again a brilliant read with constant twists to the story. Roll on February and the next book in the chronicles. I should add that I have read all the books in this series and they have all been page turners from start to finish.

All good things should come to an end
I have very much enjoyed the 'Clifton' books. However, this one is one too many. The story lines are repetitive and the supplementary characters (Lady Virginia, Major Fisher) are starting to become annoying. Please can this series come to an end.

Good plot, good charactures, NO conclusion. If your going to write a trilogy etc, let your customers know before they purchase.

I have been a great fan of Jeffrey archer over the years and loved his books but I m now bored with the ongoing saga of the Barringtons and the rest. Can we please have a conclusion and move on to an other story as opposed to a guaranteed income for the next book!

Another great BUT with a cliffhanger!!
Another great book but it ends yet again with a cliffhanger and the next book is not due to be released until 2016! Not as exciting as previous releases in the Clifton chronicles - I definitely wouldn't pay full price for it when I bought the others for 99p! I wish we didn't have to wait so long for the next book - I'll probably have forgotten all about the Clifton family and their woes by then!

Archer still writes the best of books
I'm 46 and read all types of books. One of my best books was Kane and able. Since then I'll read anything by Mr archer. Fortunately he has never disappointed me. Keep on writing and I'll keep on reading.
