Loved this book. First read it on Wattpad then read the published version

I really wanted to like this book and have never 1 starred a book in my life. I figured they’re making a movie about it how bad can it be? The answer is awful. I wanted to empathise with the main male character but honestly he was just unlikeable and horrible. Is his background story sad? Well yes but it doesn’t justify what an awful guy he is. Please save your money and buy elsewhere and definitely don’t go see the movie as it needs sunk ASAP!

I’ve never fallen in love with a book and I’ve never really been interested in book and when I first saw the teaser trailer for this I feel in love. I started reading it on Wattpad and i can’t express how much I love this book and I’m so happy that I’ve come across it

I cant wait for the movie now I’ve recommended this to so many of my friends and they love it as well

Amazing book! Haven’t read a good book trilogy in a few years! I Couldn’t put it down I’m now on the 3rd book of the series after only starting this book 3 days ago! I love that the story outlines that not all relationships are like fairytales! Every relationship has good and bad and if you can grow and learn from your mistakes isn’t it worth all the heartache in the end! In reality a lot of what happens in the book does happen in real life.. Thank you Anna for giving a book that has made me fall in love with reading again!! :)

Could not put this down. Characters are all so investable, scenes are believable. I care so much about tessa abs hardin! I was shocked the book ended how it did and am letting wanting more lol. Is there a next book?!

The best book ever

So..... after seeing the trailer for the movie of this series I decided I needed to read first and I’m so glad I did.... I loved it from beginning to end.... it was every teens dream the rebel boy with tattoos.... and my heart breaks for innocent tessa... I can’t believe he did that to her.... 😱😱😱😱

Look, yet another book about a manipulative, emotionally/verbally abusive dysfunctional man controlling an intelligent woman who starts out strong but is extremely emotionally weak by the end? How is that romance? Why would anyone write a romance book where that kind of guy is the ‘catch’? It’s awful that you’re writing characters that put up with emotional abuse over and over again and sell it as a romance novel.

Horrible, exhausting read that makes you hate each character.

Blown away by this book read within 3 days. Just a great story and the ending was so powerful. All I can say is please read, I gave it a chance and so glad, one of the best books I have read. I want more!

This is by far my favourite book as I have read it at least 4 times, have no clue what some people are talking about it supporting abusive relationship when in fact it doesn't, it's not a abusive relationship but Hardin is troubled and has trust problems, would and have recommended it to people x

I didn't used to like reading that much, till I got into wattpad, always Harry styles fanfics, I read after when it was a fanfiction and not published. It was literally the best thing ever... I didn't care about texting, tv... Sleep... It's addictive and just all round perfect. I have the published books and am still obsessed I am just in love with it. I'm in love with Hardin and I'm in love with the Anna Todd for writing this insanely beautiful and dangerous novel. I know nobody will read this because I'm just rambling on. But seriously read this book. I can't put into words how much I love it and how good it is.

I've read this book do many times and I still find it the best romance novel. I don't get how it promotes a abusive relationship. I would defiantly recommend it to anyone who likes romance. It has so many twists and turns you just can't put it down. It is very different from all the other romance novels I read and it is unique. So good.

I have read all the after books on wattpad. I was one of the people who waited for the updated and read each book as it came out. But this just isn't the same.

Sure the story line may be the same but just changing the names changes the story. All the people who've read it on wattpad know the story as a Harry Styles fan fic.

I'm sorry but it's just the same. All you people who are like me read it on wattpad as it was being written don't bother buying it. I didn't enjoy it as much and in all honesty I think it's a bit over rated. There are better fan find out there that deserved to be published more than this.

ik a lot of people have been saying this promotes abusive relationships, but really it does the opposite. when u read this it doesn't make you like Haydn, instead it urges u to find someone that u love the same amount, but treats you right. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, showing that anyone can achieve something if u put your mind to it. well done wattpad for uncovering such talent for creating something so gripping!

The book series promotes an abusive , harmful relationship. The plot is poorly structured with about 30 different themes stitched together so that it becomes confusing. If you are really desperate to read such a poor piece of literature, then remember it's free on Wattpad . Wouldn't even give it 1 star if I had the choice.

I haven't read all of this I only read the first 7 chapters on sample but it's just like your one on Wattpad infant it's the same all you have done is changed the names like its Hardin instead of Harry 💕

Long story short, my husband bought me this book for Christmas, I read it, and would recommend Ms. Todd join us in the real world. Hideously written with a shocking lack of any substance. I am having problems selling it on, as everyone else I know who received this for Christmas is giving it away for free.

It would be redundant of me to review the content in depth, as it is, quite simply, 50 Shades of Grey for children. Absolutely shocking.

Don't buy this book. It's awful for many reasons.

It promotes abusive relationship. Half the book is actually copied. It is teaching young children that it is okay to be abused and the author is a liar. I'm trying to help you so please don't read this book.

An insult to literature.

I cannot count the amount of times I have read and re read this book. I found it on wattpad and was amazed by the quality and content. To me it wasn't just a fanfiction, but a piece of literature. I'm so proud of Anna and wish her all the luck in the world.

When I say this book is amazing... I mean every word. It's just such an exhilarating book, I found myself reading. Full of so much emotion and it's very descriptive. Love this book so much!!!
