I’m new to this series of books & it’s thanks to someone I follow on Instagram that I’m reading them. Both this book & the first one Crossing Places are so good that I’m unable to put them down and it’s been a long time since any book has gripped me like that. My only surprise is that television hasn’t got hold of them as I live in Norfolk and with the description that Elly Griffiths gives they wouldn’t have any difficulty in putting these stories from page to film. Brilliant gripping & informative.

Time team meets silent witness....the second Ruth Galloway story....I’ll definitely be downloading the next one!

Didn't grab me, the writing style was very disjointed, the ending had a climax of sorts but honestly it was sort of boring. Had I not been on Holiday I would have probably left it unfinished, and downloaded something else.
